Average hotel and not easily accessible

a really basic hotel with basic amenities like tv, queen bed, aircon, shower and so on. the room is clean enough, but the furniture is pretty old. accessed by security keycard so that's one plus. it's not in the heart of phuket town so you need to get transport out if you want to check out the heart of phuket town which is actually where you'd want to be hanging out. the hotel is also far from the main road of the rasada/kuku area, so be prepared to walk a little to get to the main shops. the main road is good though, it has supermarket outlets of supercheap, tesco, 7-11, and tops. there are also lots of great and cheap thai eating places. but as i mentioned, you gotta walk/ride out a bit to get to that main road. strange thing was they didn't automatically ask or come to clean my room the 2nd day. i figured that they would, but they didn't. i asked them about it when i got back and they said that i should have told them to. i was just trying this hotel out cause it's near the workplace of a friend. it's a few dollars cheaper than the other 3 star hotels in phuket town. but really, you might as well pay a few dollars more to get a better location and better room.
