Not worthwhile unless you are staying in suite

I was very excited about the hotel when I saw its pictures but upon arrival was very disappointed with what I saw.
Room was very old and we had 2 single beds instead of a double bed. There was also no window, well there was one but it opens to the pathway and I don't think anyone will keep this window opened. The water pressure in shower was also very low and the the bathroom very small.
We walked past the rooms facing the pool and beach and saw that they were newer. Unless you are staying in the more expensive rooms, no point settling for the standard rooms. Having said that, if your budget allows for the suite, then you would have a lot of choices of mid to top end range of hotels.

Value For Money Hotel

I would said that is a good comfortable hotel minus the shower experience. You can relax and enjoy your by the pool or at the beach. Food at the hotel passed my expectation honestly. We spend most of our time at the pool. Is peaceful and not really have any kids running or playing there. I guess this is not really a family hotel. I will definitely return to this place.

Patong Garden Hotel is a reasonable 3 star hotel, the hotel is quite old, the view to the sea is not clear because there are alot of big trees. For the value of money this hotel is expensive. We stayed 3 days and four night in this hotel, during this stay the house keeping never change the bed sheet, it was smelly. During rainy season there're not so much features to do in this hotel since they have only a swimming pool.

loved the stay here, can walk straight on to beach and rent sun loungers, or bangla road and jungceylon shopping mall very close.
Shopping Tip:
Phuket is generally more expensive that places like Bangkok, or even Chiang Mai - you can barter, but you generally won't get deals like in those other places. MBK in Bangkok is the best place I've shopped so far in Thailand...

Great location and great value for low season - the cheapest one of only about three hotels actually on central Patong Beach itself. The hotel does need to consider some minor renovation in the rooms. Travel desk and restaurant staffs friendly and helpful. Food quality was very lacking considering the prices charged - this needs to improve.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There are only about six rooms which actually face the ocean (although that view is obstructed by trees and the massage area). There are about six additional rooms on the NORTH side of the pool that do not have trees or shrubs blocking their immediate views (ocean views still blocked by beachfront trees). Other than that your balcony/porch will be facing a building or foliage. Avoid street facing ("city view") rooms - some of them have windows backed up to stairwells that oceanside guests use to access their rooms - that can't be pleasant nor quiet!

Marvellous locatioin for nightlife
Friendly staff, walk on to beach, great for Bangla Road nightlife, half-price spa massage when I stay here

Staff here were excellent, the location is great and central for beach/nightlife and only a short walk to Jungceylon shopping mall.
Can walk out of the hotel and straight onto the beach, turn right and there are some excellent and cheap restaurants to watch the sunset from.
Hotel Feature Tip:
For those single travellers this is a "guest friendly" hotel, but it will add another THB1,000 to your nightly bill for additional guests. You need to be aware of this if you are there to live it up and live a single life hehe

Great Location
Location - Next to Beach & Patong Town Hot Spots

The stay at the hotel is generally good. The location is tops as its near the Patong Town Hotspots. Walking distance to shopping, massage places and restaurants. So staying out till late is not a problem as you don't ned to catch a tuk-tuk or cab to get back. The staff are friendly and helpful. We also use the Hotels - sightseeing concierge to help us book for events in Phuket. Very helpful and gave us tips on the trips we booked. Quite disappointed that the rooms looks good online only. The place looks run down and dated in design. But overall its still comfortable and clean. The popularity of this hotel is because of its location along the beach and smack right near the town centre.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Pha Nga Bay trip is a must. Its my second trip and its still just as fun.
