I would recommend this hotel. I booked an Andaman Studio, which enabled me to walk right out onto the beach. The room was well-appointed. I could see the sunset from the room and the small patio in front. The bathroom was basic but clean and the breakfast less-than-inviting. But you just can't beat that location. It's right in the heart of Patong. The hotel website admits some rooms near the road can be noisy, I certainly didn't hear music or people from my room. I will stay there again, provided the prices stay competitive.

Right on the beach, a short walk from the action.

It's clean and comfortable, but I had a dripping air conditioner and a toilet that backed up. Perhaps I was unlucky. The staff were quick to remedy both problems.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Book a room where you step out to the beach, wake up early and swim in the calm waters of the Andaman Sea as the sun comes up over Patong. It's a rare moment of peace and solitude in a bustling, crazy town.

Have a breakfast by the Ocean! Guest Rating: 4.5

This was the first time I visit this hotel. I went for one night and extended my stay there 3 more nights. A really good rate you can get from agoda. Regarding the Patong Bay Garden. Its very clean simple small hotel directly on the beach. Imagine having your breakfast by the beach, oceans and green mountains on both sides! Very relaxing view. The breakfast itself is convenient with some varieties. Small pool at the middle of the hotel for some relaxing, and you always have the option of going to the ocean! Especially in the early morning. The hotel staff are friendly but yet communication takes longer time as you have to speak slowly in English and repeat and maybe right on a piece of paper to get him/her to know what you mean (mostly with the night shift) I went for a deluxe room. Big nice clean with balcony. Very very clean.. the wood may smell sometimes in the room, ask the house keeping to spray something for the smell.. it works! Regarding the location its great as your 50 meters away from the nightlife road which the bangle road. Also its too close to many seafood restaurant. Regarding trips and reservation for taxi or anything else the hotel has a small office at the entrance with a nice English speaking lady who can be very helpful. If I’m back to Patong I will choose the same hotel for sure!

1-By the Ocean 2-Near Bangla Road 3-Friendly & helpful staff and security (language limited) 4-New clean roams

1-the room smelled few times 2-noise repairment of some rooms at my stay

  • Travel tip : taxis are few in whole Phuket, Rent a motorbike and cruise all over the beach

We find this 2 and 3 storey hotel walk up hotel tedious especially during the rain going up the stairs and down. The Andaman Studio that we stayed in was a let down compared to the images we saw in Agoda Web site. Besides the bathroom was lacking in ventilation and has a perpectual stink. The air condition was noisy and leaked. To top it off there is loud music that played on till early morning. Sleep was hard to get on with. We were sad in our choice. The on the beach location at the end could not even make up for the cons . For apx USD100 per night, I am sure we can get better rooms eleswhere. NO we will not stay here ever again!

On the beach location.

F&B cleanliness & staff.

  • Restaurant Tip : Have an ice cream at Ete down the road. Great on a hot day. Jung Ceylon has a food court, we find the fishball extremely good. The tom yam goony with glass noodles is equally yummy.

This was an excellent hotel with a good location for shopping and the night life on Bangla Road. Turn right out of the hotel and go down past Subway, there is a massage place that sits behind where you book tours. This place does the best foot massage, you'll find it because they are always busy.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Book the Phuket Fanta Sea dinner and show, get the gold seats. You will not be disappointed, this is better than most Vegas shows. Incredible!!
