Warm atmosphere, friendly staff english spoken, good location, cosy pool side and well landscaped garden, ok breakfast. If you like cats there's plenty of them :)
A bit old, it needs some renovations expecially on standard room type bathrooms and airconditioning system. Take the superior. If you are allergic to cats...well...they're everywhere...
I enjoyed my stay there. While was too hot to go out, I spent quality time on reading a book in the nice garden next to the pool (clean and well maintained with not too much chemical). Some longchairs need to be fixed. Next to the hotel there's a construction site, like everywhere in phuket, but it was not really disturbing at the moment. Rooms provided with shower amenities, cable tv, refrigerator with 2bottles of complimentary water per day... Two thumbs up for the location: out of the nightclubs noise but footsteps from Bangla Rd.and 10 min walking to the beach. Convenient stores, ATM, massages, restaurants...all nearby. I definitely would stay there again.
Thanks to the cats you will not find any mouse...
Nightlife Tip : Well, U are next to Bangla Rd, if u're looking for some nightlife action U'll find anything you like there. Great place the Hollywood disco, the only one open 'till late night.
I'm crazy for italian food, the best dine resto is a really tiny one named "La Casereccia" following the hotel road till the "very end", when u'll find the way that goes to the hill on the righthand side, just turn left.

old / smells bad / no good service / air cond not working well.
This hotel was not one of my best - Rooms are average size / bathroom lots of mold and the smell in the hall way not nice.
Breakfast was hot inside with wild cats running around. Building need a good renovation.
Shopping Tip : cheaper in Bangkok

Lovely grounds. Great location. Right on the main shopping street of Patong and a 5-10min walk from the beach area. 2min walk to the great Emotion Day Spa which has lovely staff and great thai massage. Close to nightlife but far enough away to be quiet when you have had enough. A few english tv channels for those occasional rests. I never felt unsafe at anytime alone around the area.
Aircon thermostat didn't work and only light bedding so often had to turn it off. Staff are freindly but don't have much english. Room was small and average but clean.

Very quite & clean. Cheap as well. Pretty nice Pool. Customer services is good. Right in the middle of areas for shopping, Halal restaurants, Tour Operators, Banks and Car/Bike rentals. Good value for Money (If you are not spending on food and bar within Hotel)
Bathrooms just sort of OK. No tubs, but clean. No electric Kettle, Hair Dryer, Safe/Vault in Room. If you want these, they charge you a lot.
All in all, I must say it’s a good place to stay. Particularly if you are there with family they will assist u a lot. Walking distance to beach, just 5 min. Last but not the least it’s really inexpensive.

- Easy access to rent a bike.
- 5 minutes walk to beach.
- Comfortable bed.
- Low water pressure.
- No bathtub.
- Too little choice for breakfast.
- No proper luggage storage.
In summary, I would give Patong Bayshore Hotel 5 out of 10. There are more cons than pros for the hotel. Honestly, I think that I could easily get a better hotel for the same price. I do not recommend you to try it. The hotel is old and the place looks like no being taken care of properly. Nevertheless, the bed is really comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Lots of travel agency and food stalls along the road where the hotel is located.

Nice pool and garden area. Good Breakfast.
Upstairs rooms are not so good so. I feel that I was given one of the worst rooms because I had reserved online. Small and damp. No terrace or balcony.

Service is not that good.
The hotel is located in quiet good location. It is on Rat U Thit Road. 15mins walk to patong beach, 15 mins to Junceylong and bangLa. Seafood court just across the road. However the service is not so good. 3 of us reached the hotel around midnight on 27 March because the flight was delay. The hotel was supposed to prepare the spare bed for us but didn't and the receptionist only said she just take over the night shift and didn't get any informed. Anyway after half an hour waiting the hotel open another room for us for 1 night.
Be careful of taxi. It is very expensive You must negotiate.
Restaurant Tip : SEAFOOD Court just across the hotel.. and CHEAP.

Pool area was very nice. The hotel was nicely located in Patong.
Very little English spoken. Rooms were not very nice for the price in this area, were the same as other cheaper hotels.
Decent hotel, but with so many in the area I will NOT be staying here again after the service.

for the price you get it it's more than satisfying, pretty nice
The hotel is nice and small, friendly staff, has a nice pool and rooms facing the garden, not to many too many facilities but actually you don't need them, because the hotel is situated in the heart of Patong and you have everything the shops and the restaurants around you. It's located in Patong beach, but it's pretty quiet and safe area, not too far from the beach, you can have a nice walk. Overall, i was satisfied during my stay in Patong Bayshore Hotel

The pool was great. Nice and deep.
The staff at the pool bar were very lazy and preferred to watch television than serve.
We wanted a nice quiet place far enough away from bangla Road but close enough to walk there for the nightlife.
The grounds were nice as was the room and facilities.
The breakfast buffet was a bit sparse but adequate.
The reception staff were polite and helpful but the poolside bar staff werent.
Overall it's good value for the money.

Close to the centre of Patong Beach, great rooms.
LOVED THIS HOTEL. On one of the main streets in the middle of Patong Beach, but dead quiet in the rooms. Great pool, very tropical hotel. Staff very friendly, 24 reception and porter, great breakfast, rooms are quite spacious for the price and very clean. Stayed for 8 nights, would stay here over and over again. Very central, great facilities.
Hotel Feature Tip : Tourist Information guy is VERY helpful, gives great deals. Book your tours to the islands here after you check-in.

Clean, quiet rooms, friendly staff, nice pool
Some days the pool towels were not available until late. Having laundry done at the hotel is too expensive, try the laundry across the street and south about 1 block
This was our first trip to Phuket, I feel lucky to have found this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the staff members were all friendly and helped me out with special requests i.e. making local calls for me, providing a place to store our luggage while waiting by the pool after checkout as we had a late flight that day. The breakfast was a complete meal, not just some coffee and pastry but a healthy breakfast with eggs, bacon, fruit, juices, cereal and more. I would recommend this hotel highly. The bungalow rooms are slightly higher priced than the standards, but are worth the extra money.
Restaurant Tip : Be sure to eat at the "99 seafood restaurant" just a short walk south from the hotel on the opposite side of the street

desk staff very helpful
breakfast supplied was very good
rooms we were provided werent 3 star and need to be renivated
arrived at bayshore hotel and were given 2 rooms as were requested. we had asked for double beds and were given two singles on grd floor.
our room was first behind kitchen and was very noisy and was like a back packers room.
hot water was luke warm.
we stayed in room one night and the complained and was shifted to a much better room on 2nd floor. our frieds compained as well and was shifted. it seems that they try and give everybody these 2nd rate rooms when u arrive.
had a problem with the laundry service that it didnt get done on time as it wasnt even right day and they were not helpful in finding it.
other than that it was ok but would proberbly find a different hotel to stay so i recieve a good room to start with.
