convinient location.Nice trees and very well spread area The food offered is on expensive side and for vegetarian choice is limited It is well appointed. We liked wooden work.The verandahs have good pool view. We enjoyed spending morning hours taking tea and relaxing.Cleanliness is very good.Hotel staff is friendly and efficient.It is very convinient to go to beach and several good restraunts are within walking distance.The pool is very big and has facilities for children and adults who do not know swimming and has attached jacuzzi
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The trip to phiphi island is not worth it. They just take you to island for lunch and small area for snorkling.Two fellow travellers got hurt

- Great views from upper room balcony
- Rooms were clean
- Pool was great
- Good banquet breakfast IF included in room price - if not it's a rip off
- Great location The front desk staff were not welcoming, didn't smile and were generally quite cold. I booked a budget room, however when I got there they offered me an upgrade which was well worth it. The deluxe rooms were fantastic, great views from the balcony and very clean. The pool is great and location just off of Patong Beach. The front desk were fairly unfriendly and didn't smile or say hello at all - very unusual for Thai people. The cleaning and restaurant staff were lovely though. Wouldn't hesitate to go back here next time in Phuket.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do a diving or snorkelling trip out to Ratcha Yai - its a great little island with some fantastic reefs. I used Scuba Cat who were great, but I think most of the dive co's go there.

Room was beautiful, swimming pool was fantastic, minutes from the beach/ nightlife, nice staff. Must drop key off at lobby (so you can't keep the A/C on in the room when you're out), hotel food was very expensive When we arrived at Patong Beach Hotel, we were greeted with a refreshing "welcome drink" and cold towels as we checked in. We were offered a free room upgrade if we purchased 2 tickets for the dinner buffet for 950 baht each. The upgrade room was fantastic, but the buffet dinner was uninspiring. The bathroom was very nice and featured both a tub, and a walkin shower with a HUGE rain-shower head. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beach, and about 7 minute walk to get into the bar/nightlife district. The swimming pool was huge and very refreshing.
