Very nice hotel
The hotel's location was very nice (Opposite to the Paton Beach) so that's a cherry on top. The staffs were really friendly although they could really work on the English as they could not understand what i was saying. The pool was very nice and clean and the breakfast was 4.5/5. However the location of my room was in the dead end of a corridor which was a little far from reception. The staffs were very friendly. The size of the room was alright and the balcony was nice too. It was in a 2 mins walk away from Bangla Walking Road so that was nice. Overall a nice place to stay if you are thinking to relax in a good hotel. The wifi was good too.

Nice modern hotel
Not sure what all the bad reviews in this place are all about?? No noise from the pubs and clubs, hotel grounds are clean and the rooms are modern and spacious. Reception staff are helpful and smiley. The staff around the pool do fetch you your drinks etc, but they do like to hang out at the bar and you have to get their attention if you want anything. Would stay again

Not a tourist friendly hotel.
Booked a room for 2 adults 1 child. Room was to small for 3 people. Room only had a king bed. Staff suggested an extra bed for 1000 baht. I declined cause there would be no space in the room for anything else. Had to share the king bed. My Thai wife was not with me during check in and was to come a few days later. I extended our stay a couple days and the wife was still to come. Staff made a big deal about wife not there during check in and wanted to charge 1500 baht extra. Because I was with my young daughter I wanted a legitinate Thai massage in the room one evening. They wanted to charge me 1500 baht extra for masseuse to come in. Even when this hotel doesn't offer in room massage service. Service was poor in all areas of the hotel. The pool cafe was terrible service and had to go to the counter myself evert me I needed to order food or drink.Moreover they still charge the 10% service charge. I have traveled and lived in Thailand for past 14 years. I found this hotel was the worst for taking advantage of the foreign tourist and was one of the worst for service. And because the location is good people will come anyway and I am sure they know that.

It was alright, I guess.
On the beach, close to shopping, fairly clean
The female staff members really need to learn how to smile. The dining staff by the pool was quite rude after they messed up my order and failed to remake a beverage that had an ant in it. Instead, they found it more appropiate to just remove the ant. Not really worth the amount of money we paid.
