All areas were clean and tidy the hotel was quite modern accross the road from the beach pool was great quite large
Booked the hotel because it had a spa did not realise the spa was an extension of the outdoor pool other than this everything was great
But admit this was the nicest hotel I stayed at and my holdiay lastest for 4 weeks. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Meet quite a few another people there. Noticed that alot of familys stayed there with small children. Beautiful view from my balcony. The rooms were very modern and I noticed this hotel gave you slippers and bathrobe which you could used this was a first on my holiday. I would definately stay there again plus I took photos to show my family and friends as a few are thinking of going to Phuket. This hotel was close to everything you could walk everywhere.I was sorry to see my holiday end.
Nightlife Tip : There were so many places to go shopping was great a lot of great places to eat and Fantasea was just an amazing show to see quite a few people from the hotel went and everyone said it was definitely worth the money.

centrally located. reasonably clean
didnt explain how to use the key. we needed to get someone to show us after struggling for 5 minutes on our own.
It was an interesting place. It was quiet during the evening, and there was little foot traffic around the hotel. However, when we walked to the main street by the beach, it was wall to wall people. Taxis have a hard time finding this hotel, so make sure that you have someone from the hotel pick you up when you arrive. Inside the room, it was nice and clean and comfortable. I loved the view outside our window. I wish I had more time to stay in the hotel to get a better feel for the staff and the amenities.
Nightlife Tip : Make sure that you bring something to light the way if you are walking back alone at night to the hotel, the driveway is dark and could be a bit dangerous *tripping/falling.

the hotel location is perfect, its just a few steps away from the well known patong beach and at the same time few steps from the crazy bangla road.. hotel is in a good condition and rooms are fine.. its nice to stay in this hotel.. and tour desk was really helpful and almost all out tours were done in no time and with good discount..
the pool was not clean everyday.. the hotel should have more bars and restaurent..
the hotel location in amazing,, its only a few steps from the well known patong beach, and at the same time few steps from the crazy bangla road,, staff were friendly and helpful, and the tour desk was really helpful, the desk booked us the best tours and gave us a good discount and they were very freindly with us..
ovar all i recommend people to stay in this hotel,, even though they should reduce the room prices.. but for sure, next time i visit phuket i'm gonna stay at the same hotel..
Nightlife Tip : bangla road is a crazy night spot.. but you should know that its full of go go girls and strip clubs.. but over all a great place to spend the night

Great location, quiet, bed was huge, bathroom was lovely, reception helpful, restaurants great.
lifts are slow. Pool closes at 8.
Overall this place was a nice place to stay. The location is the best on Patong Beach. As well, the hotel is a bit back off the road so it isn't noisy. The pool was great, although I didn't really like that it closed at 8pm every night, especially when you come home after a night shopping - it would be nice to cool off in the pool.
the staff were helpful but not overly friendly.
overall woudl definately recommend this place to stay.
Shopping Tip : the people selling fake goods with tourists along the street seem to not like tourists very much and can become quite aggressive if you tell them "maybe later" or "just looking". I wouldn't recommend stopping and looking/touching unless you want to buy.

Clean, nice room - stylish, nice pool, good breakfast, staff friendly and helpful
bathroom has no privacy, internet - had problem one night where i tried to use internet and spent 20 mins writing email and when i went to send the page failed - so i wasted my internet time and patong beach hotel staff refused to refund me or give me extra time even though it was their service that stuffed up - extremely disappointed. was promised manager would contact me and never did. big waste of money and very upset.
everything was ok, clean, stylish, generally friendly service.
bathroom is stylish except privacy has been sacrificed.
would have been good if pool was open later and perhaps a more drinking environment encouraged around the pool - happy hour?
great location

For the price, this hotel has a very nice room and had a good location.
The stuff has no affability.
For the price, this hotel has a very nice room and had a good location. It takes about 1 minute to beach, and about 5 minutes to Bangla road. But I think, the staff has no affability. When I asked them, there was no smile. Especially, front staff. Besides, joiner fee costs 3000 bahts.

Convenient hotel, close to everything. Hotel staff friendly. Rooms conservative as expected. Adequate. Hotel breakfast expensive so if not included, eat locally.
Jack hammers next door. Redevelopment in the area is understandable.
Patong Beach Hotel was a nice resort located off the main esplanade in Patong, approximately half way. It was close to everything with plenty of amenities including a nice pool. There is security at the front if you are concerned. The staff were lovely and happy to assist with places to visit.

Location was great, very central in Patong district, so we could walk everywhere without needing transport. Friendly staff. Although the room was a little small it had good facilities like a good size bath and shower and a veranda into the bedroom which made it cool during the day. I also liked the fact that they had 2 swimming pools, 1 was more private and the other was a bigger family oriented one.
The food at the hotel restaurant was nothing great and very expensive as compared to eating out. And the restaurant decor was not inviting and was always empty if not for the breakfast buffet.
Overall the hotel was in a fantastic location, very central just few 100 metres from the beach and you could easily walk to restaurants and bars or get a tuk-tuk if you wanted to go further away, cheap laundry was 1 block away, the banana club and a little bar with a live band was 200 metres from the hotel, very secure and safe street. The facilities were good, the hotel was very clean, and the rooms were small but had a very clever space-saving design to it. The staff were friendly and spoke English very well, so there wasn't a language barrier.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can rent a bike for 200 baht/day if you intend to stay for more than a few days. Economical way to travel, easy to park, easy to get around traffic, cheap to fuel up. Just go easy on the speed and be aware of others giving you a honk, they're not being rude just giving you a heads up.

Next to happening area in Phuket, Good rooms and service.
Didnt allow guest in hotels.
I had enjoyed my stay in Patong Beach Hotel. Front desk staff is curteous but too slow in responding and understanding your need. Rooms are good, spacy, clean and cooling / heating eminities. Cleaning staff do wake up you in the morning even when you turn on the sign of Do not Disturb. The only negetaive thing about the hotel is they didnt allow guest in the room which is not understandable as per Phuket standards, another is the hotel didnt offer any rental cars / motorbikes.\nAny way good experience and will saty next time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Haggle the price before any deal.

Absolutely loved the location of Resort, great restaurants belonging to resort, staff where wonderful, several didnt speak much english but I suppose we were in Thailand so I shouldn't have expected them too. Bookings office is terrific, cheaper than booking on the street or yourself as they organise transport as well. Meals were all great probably expensive for there but still very cheap for what you get, we only ate away from Resorts restaurants one night (Phuket Fanta Sea) the rest of our meals were all there, take your pick which beachside restaurant you want.... Look we just love it and I am looking to go back asap. Rooms were great for what we paid, couldn't have asked for much more. Room service was great, each night we would order a cold milk for my little girl and it would be at our door quicker than I'd probably walk to reception. Just go there and see for yourself you will not be dissapointed.
We had a mosquito in our room. BUT.... we called reception and they were there spraying everywhere within minutes, so I can't blame them for the mozzies I suppose. Also the guy told us when he came into room how to use the mozzie burner that are provided in all rooms.\n
We loved our stay want to go back as soon as possible. Kids had a ball by the pool there were enough kids there to keep eachother happy yet not overwhelming amount. The pool area is big enough to find your own space and you really want some privacy try the pool on the side of the Resort (a little more secluded). Location was the best, we were right in the heart of it all, yet because the restaurants are on the street they blocked all the bustling noise out from the Resort. Just recommend if your looking for a \nResort that has it all you won't be dissappointed staying there. One more thing if you need someone to show you around, I can do that if you squish me in your suitcase I'd be more than happy, you can email me on littlemiss1976@hotmail.com to tell me when were going. hehehehehe I just wish..... Have fun there, you will LOVE it.
Restaurant Tip : The 3 restaurants at the front belonging to the Resort are jsut great, we went there night 1 and went back every night after, they all service eachother (if you ask them too) and between the 3 you wouldnt waste your time dining anywhere else.

Good location. Good swimming pool. As they say in the cartoons. That's all folks.
Very poor value for money even at Agoda rates. I would hate to have paid full fare for this hotel. What I detest is a hotel that masquerades as something that it isn't. I would rate this hotel as old, tired and out of touch with customers and some of the girls on the front desk as arrogant, aloof and uncaring.
Where do I start. We asked for a coffee at breakfast one morning, as we did not have breakfast included in our package and were charged the equivalent of $8 AU for two cups of the coffee that sits in the jugs on the hot plates keeping it warm. We asked also for a DVD and were told 300Baht per day. That is around $14 AU per day. I told them that I had a motorbike hired at 200 Baht per day and they just gave their usual shrug of the shoulders as if to say well that's it take it or leave it. (We left and went back to Poppa Palace a small hotel with it's faults but at the price through Agoda very good value). I would never stay at Patong Beach Hotel again, there are much better hotels for far more reasonable rates. I felt all through my stay at this hotel, these people are killing the goose that laid the golden egg.
Travel tip : Don't bother with this hotel if you want value for money.
