It was ok for someone on a budget ,
the pool , location, room size

My stay was pleasant enough , however upon arrival deluxe rooms that we payed and bookedfor where no longer available . we where offered superior rooms at a cheaper rate. which made my stay for the first few night regretful . in all honesty i probably would not stay in this hotel again only because i did not get the rooms i payed for . other then that the hotel as a whole is satisfactory its clean and good for someone on a budget holiday.

Great location and nearby along Patong beach

Lots of fun, beautiful beach, we can just walk along the Patong beach. It's near the main city.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Massage is a must for anyone aged from young to elder. Must not miss it. Beers are cheap and good.

Budget Hotel with Great Location
Great location, that's all..

If you view it as a Budget hotel, it's consider really good. Great location (10 mins away fm the Patong beach & Bangla is just few minutes away with great food and is always lively and happening). A small pool to soak in after a day out at Phi Phi or at the beach.
But, room is kind of smelly, toilet is extremely small. Basin area is only enough to put tooth brush and toothpaste. Aircon was very noisy & room was without window. Not suitable if bringing children. Photo not so true..
Location - 100%, Room condition - 30%
Restaurant Tip:
Sumitra (Thai) serves nice Green curry, Tomyam, fried noodle and ice-blends at reasonable price, just few doors away from the hotel.
99 Seafood (about 5 mins walk fm the hotel) serves fresh, big lobster, prawn and other seafood. A little pricey but, really good as the lobster and prawn were really huge and fresh.
A small counter (tour agent)managed by a humble and middle-aged lady just outside the hotel offered good price for Phi Phi Island and other land activities.

The hotel Was not as we expected:
- construction site just outside the Windows (from 8.00 - 22)
- aircondition Does not Working (moved room 1 time bevares og that)
- Daily newspaper, bathtup, bathrobe was not there as promised in the advertising from agoda.
I expect to get som money back because of above reasons.
Furthermore vi payed for 5 persons, but we were only 4.

This is the second time that we have stayed here. The room was better than last time (e.g. better view). The buffet breakfast was very good, location fantastic, just off the main road but near enough to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is very good value for money.
Shopping Tip:
For ipads, etc go to Jungceylon shopping centre, for good cheap copies of originals.

Good location but rooms without window

Patong Beach Lodge enjoys a very good location close to the main street. Unfortunately the room is not clean and is without window, especially for the rent of a bedroom.
