The room is verry good condition, all facilities running well (AC & Hot Water), The Staff very helpfull. Near to walk to Jungceylon Mall and Bangla Rd. Easy to find a good food and cheap, not far away from hotel. Small and verry relaxing swimming pool on the side of the hotel. Value for money with a good standart breakfast.

The hotel inside the from the main road but not far away only 50 meter. But overall, more positive thing than negative thing to stay

I and my wife very enjoy to stay at this hotel, althought not to big and locate 50 meters inside from main road, but overall building and in good condition. In the afternoon we can relax at the small but nice swimming pool. Going outside not far away about 10 minute walk we will see the Jungceylon Mall and not far away from this mall the center of the Phuket night life " Bangla Rd ". Lot af food street and small place to eat with cheap fine food we can find near the hotel. Not far away walking distance to Patong Beach. We plan to stay on our next trip to Phuket and Krabi. And we also thanks very much to the staff verry helpfull and without language problem.

Restaurant Tip : Not far away from the hotel, in the half way walking to Jungceylon, at the across the street there is a small restaurant semi open only at the night with number 27. Lot of the people local and also tourist eat. Small place only not more 10 table. The food good, and the price very cheap compare to other restaurant. Around 40 - 60 bath

It is very easy to find the location, just a few minutes walk to Jungceylon and the beach. The staff there are helpful.

none

They have rooms without a window, so don't check in too late, otherwise you'll get a room like i got, ground floor and no window. However, the staff helped me to change to a room on the 3rd floor which was much better. There is no hair dryer in the room, the only hair dryer is in the common toilet. The pool is a bit small, but you won't have time to swim in the pool anyway, because I spent most of my time at the beaches. The buffet breakfast was a bit monotonous, I hope there will be more varieties of food. Overall, it is a decent hotel. I will go back again if i could get a room with balcony:)

location was very good, reception area was very helpfull.room clean and tidy can't fault the place.

As i was checking out they said that a Green towel was missing? my Thai girlfriend explained to them that we notice that last night. they did not charge me, but i felt they would have if it wasn't for my thai woman??

the hotel is very good, price you can't beat. the bar across from the hotel is a good place to go, ask for charlie or par they'll give you good deals for outings.phuket is a lovie place but far too many tuk tuks, massage palours and people trying to sale you things all the time. take care and keep cool

Breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic with a wide range of food, from Australian/American style to local Thai combinations. The pool was perfect and offered much relief from the heat. The price was exceptionally good.

I would have preferred a room safe, for pice of mind. I don't like hotel lobby safes. The bathrooms could be bigger. A bit to crammed for a 6 foot 3 giant like me.

Patong Beach Lodge is located in the heart of Patong Beach town, and from this location, is very easy to get to all the facilities of the township, and only a short walk/taxi to the beach. It has an excellent pool, and very affordable meals, and breakfast is included in the coast of staying, which is very reasonable.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very easy access to all of Phuket, and would definitely go back, as I know I could afford to get there, eat at a decent price, and not pay top dollar to stay.

Cheap and worth to stay. Convenience and clean.

The wash room is too small.

The Patong Beach Lodge Hotel is a friendly and nice hotel to stay. I will recommend to stay. The price is cheap and sutable for back pack traveler like me. Location is in the centre of town and convenience to go anywhere. To the beach about 5 minits by walking. Around the hotel, you can easy get a lot of travel agent to PI PI island, Phuket 1/2 day trip and so on with reasonable price. Besides that here also got a lot of massage servic. I have had 3 time massage here during my 3 days stay. Cheap and relax. I am happy and enjoy to stay here. If got chace, will come again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Should go Phi Phi Island. Very nice scenery and very soft sand. Must go

clean room, friendly staff, easy access to the beach and entertainment district (shopping, cafe, night life, restaurant).

the bed is quite hard, the television channel is limited and the air conditioning remote control is not functioning well. One more thing, maybe they should add more menu for muslim food.

overall we were satisfied with the hotel accommodation. the location is just perfect for walking tour around patong beach. There was no noise from the bars/ cafe around the hotel which was good so we could take rest after all day sight seeing.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There were a lot of vendors around the area that offer you trip package to small island like phi-hi, etc. My tips is: don't hesitate to bargain for lower price or look around for comparison before you make the deal.

Swimming pool and breakfast both very good.

The small shower.

The hotel was nice and the food was good. The shower was a little on the small side for anyone bigger that the average 60kg but maybe that was my room, they may have bigger showers, but for the rate for the week it was ok. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you don't want to pay too much for hotels this one is quiet good ask for a room overlooking the pool, as it is a nice view.

Travel tip : Shopping and beach close and lots of places to eat and good food from all nations. You have to have the pizza from the Pizza Hut at Jongcelyon just fabulous the best I have ever tasted any where in the world. Use tuk tuk to get around if need be, got put off by what was suppose to be a taxi on my first night there, but a little knowledge goes a long way. Enjoy the night life in Bangla Road. Exchange rate was better over there I would not exchange it over here before I go next time.

very cheap, very clean, 4 storeys with lifts, great central location.

Ask for a room with a balcony. The rooms without a balcony dont have much of a view

very polite staff, always have a smile and greeting. the cleaners are very good. I have no problem at all here. The pool is only small but well maintained with pool bar and cheap drinks and food. The location is excellent with a bar across the lane which is good for booking tours at good rates. 5 mins to Bangla Road and head South 2mins to O-Top Market for shopping, where there is many bars and most welcome at the Quokka Bar. Will stay here again

Restaurant Tip : The Red Boat Restaurant just North of Bangla Road on Rat-U-Thit Road is great food and helpful staff

Good location, delicious food

The bed is too soft to make my back uncomfortable.

The location is perfect to relax. It takes 10 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to the shopping mall. Besides, the hotel is still quite for rest. The breakfast is also worthwhile. No water is mixed into milk or orange juice. There is a little pool you can swim after surfing, which we enjoyed so much.

Very efficent and friendly staff, always ready with a smile. Nice swimming pool, but a little small. Rooms very clean.

A bit further beach and entertainment centre then it looks on their map.

min. 50 words First night we were checked into a room a ugly view over a small Soi. Next morning they moved us to a pool view, very satisfactory. There were no outside noise at night, but the air conditioning unit was old and noisy. The shower head was loosely fitted and occasionally fell from it's houseing.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : As you enter the PBLH Soi there is a small travel kiosk, on the right hand corner, which offered us the best price for the 4 Island tour.

Nice, clean pool Good breakfast

too many massgae shops round the corner trying to drag you in Food and beer quite expensive

Nice quiet hotel, good location only 10 mins walk to either Bangla road or the beach. Food was ok, breakfast was worth the extra paid for. We had a bottom floor room with the view to the corridor so maybe good to ask for a higher level room or a view of the pool. Pool was nice but a little on the small side

Nice rooms and very affordable, only 20 USD/day with buffet breakfast already. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Jungceylon Mall and it has a kiddie as well as a pool for adults.

The room of my sister smelled of Cigarettes altho' we requested a non-smoking area for them also. Maybe the previous occupant/s was/were smoking. The Hotel is about 50 meters from the main road that is Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee/Year old Road.

Despite of the heavy rains during our first two days in Phuket, it was still a nice vacation. We were lucky enough to have a guide named Ming Jitkua who showed us around Phuket. Our Hotel was also located near the Action, lots of Shops and Restaurants around as well as Massage Parlors. Street food was yummy and cheap. We had Thai Massage in front of Patong Beach Lodge Hotel for only 200 Thai Baht

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Get a Half-Day City Tour and you may have a massage right on Patong Beach. It's not very ideal to take a dip in their beach as the waves are big, not very ideal for family with kids unlike the beaches in the Philippines like Cebu, Boracay, & Palawan beaches which have whiter sand, a lot cheaper, & Not rocky unlike the beaches in Patong. You still have to go to Phi Phi or James Bond Islands to experience the nice beaches, but you have to pay a fortune first before getting there. In the Philippines, the cost of the Package in Thailand that you'll pay for 1 adult (say 1500-2000 Baht) is already enough for the whole family's entrance fee to the resort and the food to go with the whole day trip. Blind Masseurs in Butuan City in the Philippines or even Thai Massage, Whole Body or Foot Massage in Cebu City (Nuat Thai) can be had for only 3-4 USD.

Located at heart of Patong Town. Near to Jungceylon & the beach. Clean and quiet. Receptionists are friendly

Breakfast is served with same daily dishes, it will be good to have different daily dishes. There is no Thai TV program.

Generally, I am satisfied with the hotel as it is quiet, clean and with friendly receptionist. The location is near to the beach and the shopping mall, Jungceylon. It is also surrounded by many roadside food stores, restaurants & massage parlor. Unfortunately there wasn't any Thai TV program. Overall, it is worth staying and worth for the money.

Cheap

Pretty basic amenities Most rooms are dark (no windows) Smells of sewage outside Hidden. You have to go to an alley to get in

If you are looking for a very cheap hotel with basic amenities, something like backpacking/B&B upgraded, then this one might be for you. Otherwise, stay away and spend a few bucks more for a much better accomodation.

near supermarket

pool view room can not reserve in advance

Patong Beach Lodge Hotel resides in the best location, 10 minutes walk to Patong Beach and 5 minutes walk to supermarket. So many tour agents outside near hotel, so you can approach them to find any tour packet with cheaper pricing. Breakfast is nice, especially the local style fry egg, my son very enjoy it.

Restaurant Tip : you can find local food in supermarket food centre.
