Pretty basic amenities
Most rooms are dark (no windows)
Smells of sewage outside
Hidden. You have to go to an alley to get in
If you are looking for a very cheap hotel with basic amenities, something like backpacking/B&B upgraded, then this one might be for you.
Otherwise, stay away and spend a few bucks more for a much better accomodation.

pool view room can not reserve in advance
Patong Beach Lodge Hotel resides in the best location, 10 minutes walk to Patong Beach and 5 minutes walk to supermarket. So many tour agents outside near hotel, so you can approach them to find any tour packet with cheaper pricing. Breakfast is nice, especially the local style fry egg, my son very enjoy it.
Restaurant Tip : you can find local food in supermarket food centre.

Centrality to city centre!
Welcoming!
Beautiful!
Helpful staff!
Beautiful Rooms!
Pools and bar are amazin
The Patong Beach Lodge is a beautiful hotel that is centrally located, between the Jungceylon Shopping Mall and OTOP Markets. It has all the facilities you may need for a comfortable stay. Although, it is a little walk from the beach. It is safe and off the main road thus very little noise from the main road is heard. A great place for a comfortable stay and a place that will not dig into the shopping money you put aside.
Shopping Tip : The OTOP Markets are just down the road and are a great place to find a bargain!

The location is quite centralise many places and it is very accessible.
Room cleaning up people wasnt honest. They made us pay for the drinks that we didnt even drink. Its does make it like a scam. The breakfast buffet wasnt that fantastic as it is the same everyday.
I would said the staff there is pretty helpful except for 1 or 2 which gave us attitude regarding the drinks. People who stay there have to check teh fridge everyday and the reception that the room making people doesnt scam you by making you pay for drinks that you didnt even touch in the room fridge bar.

Cheap and looks grand. Breakfast is consider good for the amount of money paid.
The staffs are not so friendly. Air con difficult to adjust setting. Bathroom quite small.
The hotel is quite cheap but looks quite grand. The breakfast is ok since we paid so less of money. The location is good, quite near to all the shops, pubs, restaurant, beaches. The road into the hotel is a bit narrow and small. Only one way in and out if you are driving cars. Becareful when you signed up any island tour, make sure you write the hotel name properly. The pick up car may confused with other famous hotel like patong lodge or patong beach.

Good free breakfast, big rooms, pool and close to everything.
I could hear the people in the next room.
The staff was friendly and the location was good. The best part was the free breakfast. They actually served the best variety of food and had a omelette station. The view out of the window wasn't anything great, but I didn't care. You're not suppose to be in your room except to sleep.

Bathrooms very small and require little renovation touch-up
Excellent budget hotel near the beach around 200 meters. Close to the night life around 200 meters. Close to Jungeceylon Shopping Mall around 200 meters. Good food, great staff and good small swimming pool.
Nightlife Tip : Walking distance to night life, shopping, massages, beach, pubs etc etc.

Good location, quiet area, good price.
Not too clean, food in breakfast left from day before, the sheets are not changed, had to ask for it after fifth day.
I have used this hotel for many years but something very wrong this time: some staff members not too friendly in front desk, one was pregnant and did not feel like taking care of customers in a friendly manner, the maid service was never up to par i hope this will change. This hotel has a great location, and good prices with good potential hope to see it back to the old standard when i go back there in few months.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Around the hotel are many restaurants, aundry across the street, so is the internet, beware of the massage place at the alley very lousy and very unprofessional.

Close to Bangla Rd. and within walking distance to mnay cafe and restaurants.
Their guest policy could be relaxed. When you book make sure you book as 2 person other wise 500 bht in low season 1000 in high season
The hotel is within 10 minutes to Bangla Road and there are numerous pubs and cafes in the area. It is set back from the main road so fairly quiet. Make sure you ask for a pool view when book through the internet. Same price but you must request it. There is a very annoying near front of hotel which calls to you every time you walk past. Make sure you do not tell them your name otherwise you will hear it beaing yelled out a dozen times as you pass. \n\nThe hotel was clean but there are better in the area for cheaper price. Overall I was not satisfied and will not stay there again.
Travel tip : If you plan on guests stay somewhere else.

Simple and clean room. Decent breakfast provided.
Nothing seriously bad that need comment here.
Simple and clean rooms. Hope the management keep it this way.
Although I did not use this feature, it would be good for people wanting to bring a 'guest' back to the hotel. It costs 500baht during low season and doubles to 1000 during high season. Like everything else, prices will go up like crazy after 31st Oct.
An older receptionist was not so polite at the check in counter.

friendly staff, the shower worked fine. another i stayed at kept going from burning hot to cold.
difficult for the taxi to find, bedding is old, view from room is of a pond, a bit farther south than what the map showed.
Overall it was ok, there were mosquitoes and wasps in the breakfast area. The room was clean with a good shower. There was no hair dryer or iron in the room, those had to be rented (but no charge), good quiet loc but farther south than what we expected. Pool is very tiny so we never spent any time there
Hotel Feature Tip : Does not supply you with a bar of soap or shower cap so bring those if you need.

Very central, nice food, good breakfast and nice clean rooms.
I don't think there were any that I can think of!
Very nice clean rooms, nice lobby and very helpful friendly staff. No complaints at all.
Nightlife Tip : Nightlife, shopping etc all right on the doorstep. Down to end of the road and to the left was a lovely little juice bar (it was orange) gorgeous chocolate milk, vodka Bailey's shakes!
