we came after a very quiet week in a villa near udon thani in the north east of thailand for the sake our teenage daughter who wanted a livlier environment and to be beside the sea. we had very little time to choose an hotel and i'm so glad we picked a really good one! slightly set back from the hustle and bustle of the shops and beach road, but all within easy walking distance, we enjoyed good quality breakfasts and cocktails, thegorgeous rooftop pool and clean spacious rooms. i could not fault it for our 4 night stay in patong and would recommend it to anyone - couples or families with older children.

Getting too popular

With an 8.2 rating and all the excellent comments and its location Patong Hemingway is becoming full many nights. The prices some nights have risen to almost double the original $28. Success brings good fortune and proserity to the owners who are very friendly and welcoming.
SOme of the back rooms look into the wall of the next hotel room.
Restaurant Tip:
No 6 restaurant towards Bangla road then turn right is very popular. Tasty food at Thai prices. Good service comes with the busy comings and goings on. You may have to stand in line to get a seat.

5 minutes away from bangla road, 7 minutes away from the mall, 15 minutes away from patong beach, guest friendly

I had a lot of fun, and the place were quite for relaxing .
You won't need to go far to have fun or to shop.
But I would recommend a resort
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Book your trips from the small huts don't go to the fancy touring office its more expesive

Great hotel in the heart of Patong

A great basic but clean hotel. Staff are all friendly and rooms are good.
However, ask for a street view room, as the other side of the hotel is very close to another building.

The hotel is within a 5 minute stroll to both Bangla Road and The Junceylon Shopping Mall. The rooms are compact but have good amenities and are clean and functional. The restaurant where breakfast is taken is charming and the food of good quality with several choices. Check in and out was efficient and the staff helpful. A good choice if you want to be near the action but in a quiet boutique hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do take a look at the lovely rooftop pool and bar.

Hemingway's hotel is great value. You won't get a great view from the window, but you do get a large clean room with a comfortable bed, and it's right up close and personal to the wild Patong nightlife. If you want affordable luxury, this is the place.
