Simple yet affordable
Location plus clean hotel interior

Me and my wife stay there for 2 days and we can say the hotel is nice and the location is great. But as usual if the tourist is English spoken i found it's a bit difficult to communicate with them cause of their accent. How ever they will try to us best. About the the surrounding everything is close by park, beach, mart except mall.

My room was spotless and I was welcomed by 2 towel 'swans'. The only problem was the window overlooked the adjacent hotel about 3 mtrs away. The location was great being about 5 mins walk to Bangla road where all the action was whilst being down a side street and quiet. The staff were friendly and the food fine. The rooftop swimming pool was a bonus.

Found Patong Hemingway's hotel to be exactly what is displayed in brouchures and on the internet. The rooms were clean and presentable, ample in size for what you are paying for. Could not fault the friendly staff as they all went out of their way to forefil the requests.
Location of hotel is central, short stroll to all the attractions thast Patong Beach has to offer.
Returning to Phuket again in September and will not hesitate in booking a room at the Patong Hemingway's Hotel.

hotel is nice and good location ,not so far from shopping center and restaurant.but pity the reception (except one of reception was nice ) and some staff should to go to learn for public speaking and how to communication with the people.
and hotel has very bad smell also.

pros
i also like that this is a family-owned hotel so the service is is warm and friendly and they will assist in every way they can.
cons
being a family-owned hotel, the owner takes the keys when he leaves. our in-room safe wasn't working and wouldn't open. the reception said the owner has the key to the safe and he has left.
we couldn't access our personal belongings until the next day.
Restaurant Tip:
After over a week in several islands, it's be good to have quality Japanese buffet at Shabushi, Jung Ceylon.
Then head to Famous Club - it's a rooftop bar next to Jung Ceylon

The room is spotless and nicely tucked away off the main drag - superb location to bangla road and shopping centre - reasonable prices for room service and bar/restaurant fees however.......... there were wet days were we had hoped to use the DVD player there was none in the rooms unless u paid 90 bhat extra per day and when we advised it was something we would bring up at review staff didnt care, poor communication as english is poor with staff, beds were rock hard, the hall ways stink of sewage and sometimes smell is in the room via the air con, tiny pool no more than 2 - 3 people could fit in it at once, 3 days we had people either walk into the room or knock the door early despite no interuption signs - no apologies offered, leaks under the sink and toilet in our room, no seats in the room or on the balcony so could not sit out,
Nightlife Tip:
if staying here on your way home from bangla road make sure to stop by the street vendors amena burgers, we were tipped off about them and they were superb

did a 2 days trip to phuket and since there are so many hotels in patong area, decided to stay in 2 different hotels, the 1st one being at patong hemingway's hotel.
room is nicely done and clean. it's walking distance to the largest shopping mall in phuket and also near to the popular night entertainment area. nevertheless, you won't hear any noise when you are in your room.
