Cosy/roomy bedroom & bathroom, strategic location which is not over-crowded, near beach, friendly staff, good facilities with large pool, nice foods and setup during breakfast, smooth check-in & check-out, helpful staff CRT TV instead of LCD/Plasma Nice hotel which is value for money. We booked this hotel thru Agoda and the rate was absolutely fantastic. We enjoy our stay here and we love every moment we're there. Near to beach, roughly 2 minutes by walking and we love our bathroom which is not typical. The breakfast was awesome and the staff were friendly. They deserved the tips from us. We're happy when we went there, definitely we're going back there once we going to Patong.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The beach is near. We went to have our time at the beach from 2-6pm because after 6pm, the weather getting dark. so we continue our fun time at swimming pool.

Spacious room, good breakfast, big pool, gym, good service No iron provided, tv was not working properly, very hard matress The hotel is located 15 mins walk to Patong's main strip. It was far enough from the noise and we found the area very convenient for us. My husband and I walked to Patong every day and the walk was never boring since there was a lot to see on the way. Breakfast was fine, a good selection of Thai and Western food. The only thing was that there was no iron in the hotel. We made a complaint but they just simply did not have any irons for guests at all. TV was not working properly in the entire hotel during our stay and the manager gave us internet for free instead so we could at least watch TV online. Also I did not find the bathroom so clean. The shower had mold due to humidity and there were many ants by the sink. However, they were removed after housekeeping although I did not mention to the housekeeper about it.

great hotel, i have nothing to complain location is not that perfect, but quite silent, Lovely hotel, very clean, spacious room, really nice resort, i will stay again if there is chance, really not willing to leave... hhee, the location is not so good, it is at the north of patong beach, less than 5 minutes to reach patong beach, and around 10-15 minutes walk to the main area of patong district..but i still feel so satisfied and fine

Location - 20 min walk from Bangla Rd and directly opposite the beach, and very few if any hawkers/people bothering you on the street. Intersection outside is busy and can be hectic during peak hours.
Pool - the pool is simply amazing - huge, clean, intricate and with separate spa zones and childrens area and a swim up bar. I would recomment a pool access room - a real treat.
Rooms - huge, with modern furnishings and some with direct access to the pool. Bathroom was enormous with fantastic features inc separate bath and make up bureau, chair and mirror. Extra guest charges - for some completely absurd reason this hotel charges THB1200 per guest per night, even during green (low) season.
TV - for a modern hotel such as this one I would have expected LCD/plasma screens. Only a certain number of channels worked which didn't matter so much as we were out partying each night but some of the more popular ones inc ESPN, Discovery etc were not available. Overall this was a great hotel - the location proved a bonus as we weren't close to the "down town" area of Patong and therefore not subject to the associated noise and crowds etc. Booking a pool access room was the right decision - it was great to walk outside of the room and step directly into the lovely lagoon pool. The rooms were modern and spacious, the bathroom flawless, however the TVs need an update as does maintenance to the channel selection. Also the guest policy was outrageous, given the standard rate, if there even is one, should be no more than THB500.
Nightlife Tip : Patong's tuktuk market is predominantly mafia controlled and as such the need to price competitively is gone. Most will demand THB200-300 one way from the end of Thaweewong Rd, where the hotel is located to Bang La Rd or vice versa. Say hi in Thai and offer "nung roi ha sip" (150) and you should get it for that price :)
Alternatively, the motosee (motorbike taxi) guys hang out outside of 7-11 which is across the road. They will take you into town for 50-100 baht and it's much more fun on a motorbike!

Quiet location away from the bustle of patong beach The charges to get down to patong beach nightlife for short trip 250bhat ! The hotel is situated at the top of the patong beach area. I liked the lack of the actual bustle but some may not want that. It has a 7-11 across that came in handy and small eateries a short walk away. The pool access was nice and the hotel clean with fluffy towels. Staff was helpful and courteous.

neat n clean, pool access rooms are great, staff is polite, close to patong. Its a really nice hotel and the pool access rooms are killa. I got a really nice price from agoda. A little far from main patong but u can hire bikes from right in front of the hotel. THe staff is friendly. Over all a really nice hotel. Would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a bike from riight in front of the hotel. Its just 250 baht a day. With the bike u can explore all the ebeautiful beaches such as kamla, kata, karon , surin etc instead of paying for expensive taxis.

Very nice pool. Good location away from rabble. Ants in the room. Expensive wifi and laundry services. Nice hotel in a great location away from the rabble of Patong. Its rooms are very tastefully decorated and the swimming pool is brilliant, particularly if you have access from you're balcony. The staff are also very welcoming. However, the very nice room was full of ants. These are a problem when trecking in Thailand, but should'nt be in a four/five star hotel. Wifi in your room is also very expensive as is the laundry service. A bag of laundry and internet cost me as much as one nights stay at the hotel???
Hotel Feature Tip : Dont use the internet or laundry service. There are laundry services almost opposite the hotel and plenty of internet cafes around town.

Swimming Pool, very nice rooms A little expensive some hotel facilities The best hotel I have stayed in Thailand. Everything very good, looks like a 5 star and not 4 star hotel. Just avoid the strange taxi drivers sitting outside the hotel.

The pool is awesome. I added 3 nights so I could stay in a pool access room which I highly recommend. The rooms are very comfortable and look good. The hotel is across the street from the beach and located within walking distance of Patong's nightlife (but not right in the middle of it). Worst breakfast anywhere I stayed. If it is not inclusive do not eat there as they charge 550 baht per person. Poor, small buffet selection and the orange juice was terrible. This hotel has a great pool. The pool access rooms are great as you can open your sliding glass door and literally step into the water after a long day at the beach. You can get a great breakfast across the street at a small coffee shop (located across the street from the beach) for 160-200 baht (the hotel chargers 550 baht for a terrible breakfast). The spa had a 2 for 1 promotion and my partner and I had a great yoga massage there together.
Restaurant Tip : There are some great restaurants within walking distance. Baan Rim Pa in particular has excellent food and a spectacular view (it is pricy though). There is a 7/11 across the street so stock up on all alcohol there for 1/4 the price and put in your fridge.

The complete center of the hotel is one huge pool and the pool access rooms are great! The location is across the street from the beach and within walking distance to the more vibrant areas of Patong (e.g. Bangla Road, etc.) far enough away to avoid the noise and craziness. breakfast was below average. Be careful as agoda offered rooms inclusive and exclusive of breakfast (exclusive cost 550 baht per person extra). Very nice hotel in Patong. Paragon has an outstanding pool that is huge and has a swim up bar. The rooms are comfortable and the pool access rooms are worth it because walking straight into the pool after a long day at the beach is great! The location is on the north end of Patong beach so it is near the action without being immersed in it. The spa had a 2 for 1 special which and my partner and I got a great massage there (the thai yoga massage). I would stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : You can get a great breakfast across the street from the hotel (a little coffee shop facing the beach) for 180 baht (in a cozy air-conditioned space). Try eating at Baan Rim Pa which is walking distance to the hotel for arguably the best sunset view in Patong and outstanding food (it is pricy though.

so clean, amazing bathroom and room, beautiful pool, good location at north end of pattong not the friendliest of staff we loved our room. it was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated and the amenities were fabulous. the pool was also large and very nice and refreshing. the staff was not very accommodating - made us pay for a glass that was accidentally broken, which surprised us since that has never happened before. overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend this hotel. the food was also very good at the pool bar and restaurant. they also gave us free fruit at the beginning and a welcome juice, which were nice.

Room was very spacious. Location was excellent. Shower was great. Swimming Pool was large and very nice. Many mosquitoes at night. I stayed there for 2 nights in a pool access room which was very spacious. The bathroom was large and the shower was strong and hot. Service was okay. Location was good, just 2 minutes walk to the beach. However, the hotel should put a signage at the front of the hotel cause when I arrived, I wasn't sure if I was at the right place as there was no signage showing that this is "Patong Paragon".

Pool, View, Service..Free fruit on arrival and welcome drink. Room..very spacious, modern, clean and contemporary!!Location.. Everything! none, food and bar were slightly overpriced but it's what you'd expect Loved our stay at the Paragon, it was more than we expected. As we arrived the concierge came and took our luggage from the taxi. We checked in with no hassle and were taken to our room by concierge and given a full run down of the rooms facilities. Our baggage was delivered a few minutes later. The room was perfect, very spacious..huge bed excellent shower, bath and an amazing view of the pool. location excellent..just the right distance from the hustle and bustle of Patong. You can't go wrong with this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Joe's Downstairs restaraunt. Just a short walk to the right of the hotel up the hill. some would say expensive but you pay for what you get in this life and this restaurant is 1st Class
