The pool is awesome. I added 3 nights so I could stay in a pool access room which I highly recommend. The rooms are very comfortable and look good. The hotel is across the street from the beach and located within walking distance of Patong's nightlife (but not right in the middle of it). Worst breakfast anywhere I stayed. If it is not inclusive do not eat there as they charge 550 baht per person. Poor, small buffet selection and the orange juice was terrible. This hotel has a great pool. The pool access rooms are great as you can open your sliding glass door and literally step into the water after a long day at the beach. You can get a great breakfast across the street at a small coffee shop (located across the street from the beach) for 160-200 baht (the hotel chargers 550 baht for a terrible breakfast). The spa had a 2 for 1 promotion and my partner and I had a great yoga massage there together.
Restaurant Tip : There are some great restaurants within walking distance. Baan Rim Pa in particular has excellent food and a spectacular view (it is pricy though). There is a 7/11 across the street so stock up on all alcohol there for 1/4 the price and put in your fridge.

The complete center of the hotel is one huge pool and the pool access rooms are great! The location is across the street from the beach and within walking distance to the more vibrant areas of Patong (e.g. Bangla Road, etc.) far enough away to avoid the noise and craziness. breakfast was below average. Be careful as agoda offered rooms inclusive and exclusive of breakfast (exclusive cost 550 baht per person extra). Very nice hotel in Patong. Paragon has an outstanding pool that is huge and has a swim up bar. The rooms are comfortable and the pool access rooms are worth it because walking straight into the pool after a long day at the beach is great! The location is on the north end of Patong beach so it is near the action without being immersed in it. The spa had a 2 for 1 special which and my partner and I got a great massage there (the thai yoga massage). I would stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : You can get a great breakfast across the street from the hotel (a little coffee shop facing the beach) for 180 baht (in a cozy air-conditioned space). Try eating at Baan Rim Pa which is walking distance to the hotel for arguably the best sunset view in Patong and outstanding food (it is pricy though.

so clean, amazing bathroom and room, beautiful pool, good location at north end of pattong not the friendliest of staff we loved our room. it was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated and the amenities were fabulous. the pool was also large and very nice and refreshing. the staff was not very accommodating - made us pay for a glass that was accidentally broken, which surprised us since that has never happened before. overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend this hotel. the food was also very good at the pool bar and restaurant. they also gave us free fruit at the beginning and a welcome juice, which were nice.

Room was very spacious. Location was excellent. Shower was great. Swimming Pool was large and very nice. Many mosquitoes at night. I stayed there for 2 nights in a pool access room which was very spacious. The bathroom was large and the shower was strong and hot. Service was okay. Location was good, just 2 minutes walk to the beach. However, the hotel should put a signage at the front of the hotel cause when I arrived, I wasn't sure if I was at the right place as there was no signage showing that this is "Patong Paragon".

Pool, View, Service..Free fruit on arrival and welcome drink. Room..very spacious, modern, clean and contemporary!!Location.. Everything! none, food and bar were slightly overpriced but it's what you'd expect Loved our stay at the Paragon, it was more than we expected. As we arrived the concierge came and took our luggage from the taxi. We checked in with no hassle and were taken to our room by concierge and given a full run down of the rooms facilities. Our baggage was delivered a few minutes later. The room was perfect, very spacious..huge bed excellent shower, bath and an amazing view of the pool. location excellent..just the right distance from the hustle and bustle of Patong. You can't go wrong with this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Joe's Downstairs restaraunt. Just a short walk to the right of the hotel up the hill. some would say expensive but you pay for what you get in this life and this restaurant is 1st Class

Nice rooms, close to the beach, nice pool area. Quiet. One has to cross 2 (relatively busy) roads to get to the beach. This is a hotel which provides excellent value for money spent. We got a beautiful double room (53 sqm), including breakfast. The hotel has a very good location, close to the Patong beach, to good shopping areas and to great night-life spots. We found the staff very helpful and nice and truly enjoyed our stay!

location!!! Beach front!!! POOL! ROOMS! very new condition What a wonderful hotel.
Its hard to pick a fault on this beach front Patong hotel. Extreamly new, Large Thai style rooms, Friendly staff and a great pool. Tour desk is a little steep in Price however great service. Love the belcony and the massage bed inside the room. Helpful after a long day on the beach
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : dont book at the hotel however accross the road!

Swimming pool was gorgeous, breakfast was really good each morning, room was spacious. Location of hotel is at the intersection of two very busy roads, cost for internet. The hotel is located on the northern portion of Patong Beach. There is no direct view of the beach from most of the rooms, since the windows face poolside. The beach area is right across a busy road from the hotel. Crossing the street is challenging. The Tuk Tuk ride was overly priced over the holidays at 200Baht anywhere on Patong Beach. There was a hotel shuttle that left for the major shopping area only once per day. This hotel is somewhat off the beaten path, which is nice. I would stay at the hotel again.

Friendly Staff, Location is good for families, Beach access is good, Quick Checkin/Checkout, Quiete, Large Swimming Pool No variety at Breakfast, No free internet as other hotels and no cable TV. We stayed at the Patong Paragon in December 2008 during the peak season. The hotel is in a nice location away from all the rumble at Bangla road which makes it a better location for couples and families. The walk to the main area is 10 - 15 minutes and in a nice weather you would enjoy the walk.
The Rooms are spacious and clean so is the bathroom. The Swimming pool is large and entertaining for children. There are also many activities arranged by the hotel on daily bases such as free diving lessons, cooking classes and other activities.

hotel is very good ,the rooms are excelent and view is very good there was a robery in my room from the safe and i have made a complain and the managment has not even given a reply as to what action they take because the money was taken from the safe and the the safe was closed again so it has to be a inside job .

Guest surchage is really over the top. More reasonable would be Baht 700 (not 1200!!) This is the only reason why I wouldn't stay there again. It is a shame as the hotel was really perfect otherwise. Someone should tell them (and inform me if they change their policy).

We would stay at this hotel again if visiting Patong; close to the beach but removed enough from the busy shopping areas. Never a problem getting a taxi, to the extent that they became extremely annoying - very difficult to cross the road in front of the hotel. 7/11 accross the road from the hotel (if you can make it there alive) is a great asset.
Travel tip : Visitors must remember that pedestrians have NO rights at all - crossings do exist but try to use them at your peril. Traffic NEVER stops for pedestrians.
