Great location but small rooms

Staff were very helpful, but at times it was difficult to communicate our needs with them due to their poor English. We did ask for a room with twin beds and but were not given one and my daughter and I had to share a king sized bed. We were offered a twin share after being there for 4 days. The bed was also very hard and the pillows too big. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of choice. The pool was in a great position and we enjoyed coming back from the beach and cooling off and then going to our room and relaxing in our outdoor spa. The hotel was in a fantastic location, being a 2 minute walk from the beach, money exchangers, 7 Eleven and markets. Overall we were very happy with Patong Pearl Resortel.
Travel tip:
Don't use the hotel to book any tours. We did and found out that by booking with the travel agents outside the hotel, we would have paid a lot less.

A nice area sort of.... A reasonable hotel that sadly lacks staff training most tried hard . However there is one very very obnoxious man on front desk that needs to be removed from his position he has absolutely no people skills whatsoever , is rude load mouthed and full of himself , he actually screamed in my face 300 bht joiner fee when I had told him when I booked in (room for 2 people) that lady would be joining me later in my stay I tried to reason with him to no avail . No free Wifi 150 1 hr 300 24 hrs this is crap in this day and age breakfast egg man can do fried eggs or omelette dont ask for scrambled or poached you will get half cooked boiled egg or fried egg! nice guy just no english . Could be a great place if staff had training and owners not greedy .. will never go back

Got checked in late but person at reception greeted with smile and a welcome juice. Rooms are equiped with all necessary accesories except WiFi which is not free. Breakfast is moderate with options of fruits, vegies, rice, eggs and breads. Hotel Lady at breakfast is not well mannered and has no customer service ettiquites. Happened twice that white bread was not there, when asked she rudely said it's finished. Other time, french toast was not there, asked and got same reply from her. Whereas, after few minutes another hotel staff refilled the hot pot with french toast - this lady needs to be taught customer service and how to meet customer expectations. Taxis near, 7-11 store near, patong beach is 3 minutes.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We booked tours through outside tourist stalls.

Have been staying in standard room for few days on the ground floor. Curtain has to be close during day and night. Moved to superior room for the rest of the stay. Nice view.

Planned to stay for 3 nights, but turned out staying for 15 nights. Great location.
Travel tip:
Do not consider to visit Splash Jungle (water park). The worst destination during my stay.
