* Nice pool area and breakfast.
* Rooms are okay, but could be better.

*Harassing suit maker in the hotel (unacceptable) The hotel was okay, but for the price you can't beat it. A couple of minutes walk to the beach or get on the second road to the mall or street vendors. My biggest problem was the suit guy in the hotel. Every time I walked past him, you get the BS hassel about buying a suit. I can accept that on the street, but not in the hotel your staying at. They need to boot the guy off the site or tell him to stop harassing guests. You need some sort of oasis from all the street vendors.
Shopping Tip : You can walk 300M toward the beach and hit all the vendors there or 100M to second road and hit those. A very easy location. If you want to visit Bangla Rd., they have a nice access side street that puts you right on it. It's kind of hidden so look for it.

* Perfect Location - 3 gates leading to the beach, to Bangla Rd. and to Jungcylon. But it was still quiet.
* Nice Breakfast.
* The staff were nice, specially the boys. That we had to pay for the in-room safety and internet. If I come back to Phuket, I'll definitely stay in Patong Resort again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Find out where the three gates are and where they are leading to.
I wasn't aware of the fact that they had three gates and used only one gate for 3 days, Dah!

Walking distance to the beach, Clean swimming pool, good breakfast. Standard rooms are not recommended. We booked a standard room for 2 nights but when we went to see the standard room that was given to us. We disappointed because the smell of the room is not pleasant and it is way in the back, boring enviromentand. We asked for an upgrade and the clerk told us the charge for upgrade would be 700 bahts per night. We agreed however, the manager came by and ask what was wrong. I told him and he told us that he want us to be happy and did not charge us the charge. He is such a nice guy who knows how to please guests. The upgraded room was nice and beautiful. Breakfast is great and the hotel is just very convenience since it is a few minutes walk to the beach right to the best beach restaurant. You should try the superior room here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you want to rent motorbike to ride around the beach, the coastal drive way of Phuket island, make sure you have driver license and make sure to check the registration of the motrobike you rented. We always get the ticket in Phuket every time we come to Phuket. Despite of that, I still love the kingdom of smile and come back several time a year! Have a good trip.

Clean, spacious rooms, good location - central to nightlife and beach without being noisy, good breakfast, good value for money, two pools Reception staff were not particularly friendly, rooms were very basic (no mini bar etc), not in main hotel - were in an annex This hotel is in an ideal position in the centre of the restaurants, bars and 2 minutes from the beach yet it is tucked away surrounded by other buildings and therefore is quiet. This was perfect for us as we did not spend much time in the hotel. For those who like scenic views from their hotel pool etc, perhaps this is not the place for you. Breakfast was great - eggs done by chefs any style to order, fresh donuts being made by chefs, standard assortment of breads, cereals and hot food. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would go here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you are not intending to buy anything, ignore hawkers on the beach entirely. Although it seems rude at first, you will be swamped and pestered all day if you even give them eye contact.

Patong Resort hotel is very strategic, walking distance, safe, clean, fabulous room, have good breakfast, friendly employees, Wide car Parking.... Not having many International TV Channels... Though we just stay for 3 days/2 nights at Deluxe room at the Patong Resort Hotel but I was so impressed with my experience cause Patong Resort Hotel is very strategic hotel, walking distance to cafes, pubs, resto, beach dan shopping centre..The hotel employee is so friendly & helpful, and the room is fabulous..Definitely I will stay at Patong Resort Hotel again when I go to Phuket...
Nightlife Tip : The Hotel is only 500 meter from famous Road..Bangla Road

Its very close to the patong beach , 2minutes walk and its in the middle of the main streets so restaurants , massages , convenient stores are within reach. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Basic stuff like coffee pots and tissue paper were not present , they didnt have coffee pots actually so we had to ask for hot water and tip them everytime (inconvenient) water wasn't even that hot. I enjoyed my stay at patong resort, it was much better than I had expected. The rooms were clean and balcony was clean and had a great view. The patong beach was a brisk walk from the resort lobby and the resort itself is located in the middle of the main street so you can walk a whole round to get almost everything , tuk tuks and public buses out to the main city are available right outside the resort. The staff were all friendly, easy check in and check out. Great breakfast in variety and swimming pool in top condition as well. Great for family holidays.
Restaurant Tip : If you have a weak gut but want excellent thai food I would recommend you pum's kitchen right next to patong resort.

Location very good , just 5 minutes walk to beach and on other way 5 minutes walk to market.
Rooms good clean and neat, service is good.daily some change in breakfast liked by children. Towels available for swimming. There are many wings in this hotel, while booking no option to select wings on viewing proper loction. Lobby is far away from the wing where we were staying near pool. Very few TV channels available in room. This is first time we visited Phuket and found this hotel on very good location.There are lot of activities for children to enjoy. We had very good holidays and enjoyed.

The American Breakfast is very good. The Patong Resort Hotel is very near to the
Patong Beach and it is centrally located busy
area. The online Hotel room tariff is very
cheaper and worth staying in this Hotel.

Great pool. Good location. Overall, I thought the Patong resort was a nice place to stay. However, the hotel seemed fenced off and isolated from the rest of Phuket, and that's not really what I had come for. Hotel amenities were very expensive, and the hotel room, while initially impressive, lost its luster very quickly, but was still nicer than most of the other hotels in which I stayed. WiFi, which I had initially paid for at the front desk, did not work in my hotel room, which was disappointing.

once step out of airport lobby, i was approached by many travel agent which offer all types of services.The first agent offered 1200 bath for taxi to patong town but I walk straight to the meter taxi booth which is outside the lobby, bought a coupon and took a taxi to hotel which cost me 450 baths including toll charges.I called the same taxi driver when going back whom he charged me the same 450 baths.When you walk out from hotel lobby we can either turn right or left to streets or beach depend which wing you stay.Once you are in the street then this is what we call SHOPPING .......
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are hundreds of travel agent boothes along the streets which can be bargained to dirt cheap price !You can buy a similar packages from this booth at 1/3 of price offered at airport or hotels.

central location, quiet, friendly staff, clean, free carparking for guests not much selection on morning buffet and same menue every day, no Gym available The rooms were clean and the service was very good. We got fresh beach towels and they exchanged it very fast whenever we had placed them outside the door. The overallservice was very good. The location is a very big asset. Only some miniutes to the beach, to famous Bangla road and also to the Jungceylon Shopping complex. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is lookind for a quiet but very central price to an reasonable price.
Shopping Tip : Jongceylong shopping centre ist a must to see but behind this place, there is the Banzaan shopping placa and basar for fresh fruits and vegetables. the Bazar also offers any goods (souveniers) that are sold in the Jungceylong to a cheaper price.

Location - very close to beach and Bangla rd no complaints - very good value for money For those travellers who want to be very close to the action and close to the beach, but at the same time wish to travel on a budget, this is the place for you.
Great location, comfortable rooms with a spacious balcony and clean.
I would recommend as a place to consider if holidaying in Phuket.
Nightlife Tip : Bangla road is where all the action is

Staff wasn't great
Internet had to be paid for, and was over priced The hotel is divided into two section, and clealy the staff think of it this way ... the top section is well looked after while the other section is highly neglected. There was a safe that was only usable at a price (which I though was real rubbish). Only one key was avalible for the room (which in a hotel where the reception is on the way to your room is fine, however the reception was about 800m the wrong direction. I really wouldn't want to reccomend this hotel to anyone.
Restaurant Tip : Shakers ... good specials ... good food!
