The American Breakfast is very good.
The Patong Resort Hotel is very near to the
Patong Beach and it is centrally located busy
area. The online Hotel room tariff is very
cheaper and worth staying in this Hotel.

Central location, quiet, friendly staff, clean.
Room size OK, good air condition.
Room quiet.
dirty carpeting, not much selection on morning buffet.
Costly Internet.
The location is good, near to Patong beach, the shopping malls (Junceylon), Bangla road, bars & spa. Room conditions are ok for the price you pay, but many service is expensive: taxi, Internet, ticket to Phi - Phi island.

central location, quiet, friendly staff, clean, free carparking for guests
not much selection on morning buffet and same menue every day, no Gym available
The rooms were clean and the service was very good. We got fresh beach towels and they exchanged it very fast whenever we had placed them outside the door. The overallservice was very good. The location is a very big asset. Only some miniutes to the beach, to famous Bangla road and also to the Jungceylon Shopping complex. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is lookind for a quiet but very central price to an reasonable price.
Shopping Tip : Jongceylong shopping centre ist a must to see but behind this place, there is the Banzaan shopping placa and basar for fresh fruits and vegetables. the Bazar also offers any goods (souveniers) that are sold in the Jungceylong to a cheaper price.

Location - very close to beach and Bangla rd
no complaints - very good value for money
For those travellers who want to be very close to the action and close to the beach, but at the same time wish to travel on a budget, this is the place for you.
Great location, comfortable rooms with a spacious balcony and clean.
I would recommend as a place to consider if holidaying in Phuket.
Nightlife Tip : Bangla road is where all the action is

Great location near beach, bars, shops and restaraunts.
Standard rooms need redecorating. At breakfast a manager "upbraided" my wife for putting orange juice in a baby bottle, saying it was not for taking out of the restaraunt ! Our 2 year old does not do glasses very well, I complained and it was overturned.
We have stayed in the Patong Resort about 5 times, because of its great location. We stayed in a Superior room which was really nice with very modern, decor and fittings, and flat screen TV. Take The staff are always attentive and helpful. It serves a nice breakfast which varies each day with different specialities.
Hotel Feature Tip : Take a safe deposit box in reception its free where as you pay daily rate for the one in your room.

Hotel well located in central position. Easy access to Jungceylon shopping complex and shops. 5 mins walk to Patong beach front. Impressive appearance especially the foyer compared to the few hotels that I inspected around the vicinity like Patong Beach Resort just behind the Patong Resort
Staff very friendly when checking in, but lack of basic spoken English. Rooms looks tired and in need of re-vamping. The breakfast area have flies and this is not hygienic especially when you are having breakfast in the outdoor area. The food for breakfast ehether western or eastern needs to to review as some of the food are suitable only for the locals and not up to international standard for tourist from the west.
overall all, the hotel looks impressive until you get into the lift onto your room floor. Upon coming out of the lift on your floor level (4th floor) the is a mushy smell and the air smell very stale and the lighting gloomy. The corridors needs to be freshen up by airing and brighter lighting. This applies to the room itself, but after opening the balcony doors and airing for a few minutes with the sir conditioner on did the room smell fresher. Went to have dinner on the 8th floor and the staff very po;ite and make you very welcome. Food not too bad but a little pricey compared to outside restaurant. Other than that it is very cosy and comfortable. Very pleasant swimming pool and the view very good. Would'nt mind staying at this hotel again if you can accept the breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Avoid eating at any of the surrounding hotels restaurant as it is rather pricey compared to the local eateries. Always ask for discount when shopping in the shopping complex. When buying any items and claiming for tax refund, make sure that you get the approaite invoices over Baht 5,000 and do not let the shop say baht 2,000 is adequete. Make sure this is in one name on the invoice and not split into your partner's name or yours.

good location near every thing, room size OK, breakfast is good
dirty carpeting, not very friendly staff, long distance to walk to the rooms and there is a fee for the in room safe.
Good location in patong beach, but large hotel with many guests equal not very friendly service. I was given a very far room although the hotel is not full and I cheked on sunday.
not friendly for Muslims no hose in the bath room and a sign in the swimming pool against Muslim lady dress for swimming.
The room size is good but you will not find the tea and coffee. Very good selection in brkf. but they will not refill the coffe you have to do it and you have to walk about 100 meter from the room to get to it my rm, many rooms are further.
There is charge for in room safe of 53 bht per day, this is the first time I see it in hotel. If you are cheking out late the main safe close at 11pm.

After getting irritated and disappointed they will upgrade your room
I travel frequently, and read reviews before I book a hotel room. When I read some of the reviews of this hotel I'm having doubts but I still consider this hotel because we'll be staying for a night and might not encounter any problems. But I was very very wrong, this is the worst hotel I've ever been so far. We arrived at 9am in the morning and asked if we can use that day the breakfast coupon because we need to leave early the next morning and we cannot use it anymore. They did not allow us to use the breakfast coupon and told us to pay for the breakfast for that day. In other hotel Ive been they put validity date on the coupon and it depends what day you want it to use.
When we entered our standard room, its like an old motel. Room was a bit small, bathtub w/ stains, carpet w/ stains and uncomfortable to my feet that I felt dirt from it.I requested for a 2 extra pillows in the housekeeping and took 3 follow-up calls every 10 min and no one send the pillows until I found out that the mattress springs are broken. I called in the front desk and told it to them, he said he will send a person in our room to check it. When I openrd our door I saw ladies from housekeeping for their room daily cleaning. I called one of them to check the mattress, and then they came back trying to put a thin foam on the bed!!! How can that thin foam solve the broken mattress springs? That was the time I got angry and told them that I didnt pay for a room with that kind of accomodation. I asked them to change the whole spring mattress or move us to another room.
Look for another hotel even you'll be staying here for one night because, its better to stay in small hotels or inn rather than staying in this ZERO star hotel!!!
Staff - no one smiles and willing to accomodate you
Food - nothing special

Good location. Good size room.
Patong Resort is in a good location. Just a short walk to the beach and beach road. Had a problem at check in with a Trainee but was easily resolved by regular staff. The breakfast was very good. Served in an area that was not air conditioned; however, there was always a nice breeze so no problems with flies or mosquitos. The lobby is air conditioned sometimes and sometimes not. There is a problem with mosquitos in the lobby. We stayed in the new building, not in the main hotel. The staff was very helpful in finding a first floor room to accomodate a disability. The room was very good size. Wireless internet is available. The tour desk staff were very unfriendly and of no use to us. Massage was available but, only outside near the pool. No indoor facility.
Restaurant Tip : The Savoy seafood restaurant is only a short walk from the hotel. Great food at reasonable prices.

location, great breakfast spread, easy exits from hotel to beach, bangla road. 5 mins walk to beach and bangla road. good air condition.
expensive food, not motorbike friendly, security staff need to be polite with guests, reception attendants should be more proficient with english.
great value for money resort. great rooms. communication skills to be improved for receptionists. very close to
nightlife, restaurants and beach. food bit expensive. close to jung ceylon shopping mall.
Restaurant Tip : dont miss out the great food in Savoy seafood retaurant and the thai food court in jung ceylon very economical.

The room was a bit old, but cleaned and comfortable.
The staffs were not well-trained.
The hotel location was convenient to reach out both beach and city center. But the staffs were not well-trained. I was waited at the front desk for 20 minutes when I checked in. Thinking about the price, it was so-so.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel was very closed to the beach.

The location of the hotel is great! It is close to the main streets, beach and shopping area but the hotel still has it's own peace and tranquility. Pool area is pleasant for spending time, swimming and sunbathing. Buffet breakfast is comprehensive and the rooms are clean and tidy (eventhough some of the rooms are little bit oldish).
Room charge doesn't include safe-deposit box. If you want to use the box, you need to get a key from the reception. However, the daily charge for the safe-deposit box isn't that much (around 50 baht/day if I remember correctly).
The hotel is a great value for money. Of course we stayed there on the low season when charges were little bit lower and there was'n that much crowd in hotel. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll stay in Patong Resort hotel also on our next trip to Phuket.

Reception staff were indifferent, bad odour in the rooms that we received
The reception staff ath the hotel were not friendly on our arrival and even were indifferent to our requests to change rooms. In the first room that we received, there was a very bad odour emanationg from the carpets and we saw several spiders climbing on one of the walls. In the second room, there was also a bad smell of mildew. The third bed that we ordered in advance was not ready on our arrival. In contrast to all of the above, we want to mention a very plesant bellboy who came to our room and arranged the transfer of rooms.
Hotel Feature Tip : It's possible and often necessary to change the rooom
