New luxurious apartment right on the beach
Spacious and luxurious apartment, very nice large pool and pretty gardens, right across the road from quiet and pretty beach

This was the most expensive place we stayed at in Thailand but as we were keen to stay in Naithon beach we found the options limited. However travelling for a few weeks as a family with older children we were glad of the space in this hotel/apartment. We had been upgraded from a 3 to 4 bedroom apartment and it was the size of a large townhouse [huge]It appears to have been recently built and our apartment was certainly in very new condition. It was furnished tastefully if sparsely. We had a view out to sea and to the hills on the other side. The beach was directly across the road and there are numerous [simple] restaurants on the beach offering similar menus. The pool is lagoon style and attractive with lovely landscaping. Because this apartment is in a condominium which is partly privately owned it had the advantage of being quieter than larger hotels typically are but this does mean that there are not a full range of usual hotel services. Staff are only available from 9 to 5.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Naithon beach is a pretty and quiet location on Phuket, vastly different to the over developed and tourist-ed Patong. It is about 45 minutes drive from Patong. There is a mini market for very basic groceries and a street stall selling fruit. There is no ATM and no place to buy meat or vegetables in Naithon. If you wish to self cater you need to shop elsewhere.

Beautiful resort, but not very responsive staff

Pearl of Naithon is a lovely resort. The apartment was very well appointed and clean the pool perfect We were warmly welcomed, but later, when we had a plumbing issue, it was suggested that we use the lobby facilities (along with the three apartments above us). It was only with some persistence that the night manager found us other accommodations. The following day, the General Manager was completely unaware of us having to move.
Restaurant Tip:
Head directly across the road to the beach. Turn left when you hit the sand for a beach restaurant that has delicious Thai food and, more importantly, welcomes you and provides stellar service (for a beach restaurant). During our stay we adopted them (or vice versa...not sure which!). Their name at the time was the Eff & Gap Restaurant, but I think they were going to change their name soon.

Hotel had mediocre service and subpar location

-Biggest letdown was the fact that the hotel conceirge spoke very limited English and could not help a guest with information to the basic tourist attractions in Phuket.
-Room lacked an alarm clock and hotel staff did not provide one when asked of one.
-The room safe was not bolted to a permament structure making it unsafe to lock valuables.
-Rooms did not have soap in the bathroom. Guests had to request soap.
-Guests have to request hotel staff to send someone to service the room.
-Front desk had limited hours so it was difficult to get a hold of someone on the hotel staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
-Hotel is extremely far away from most Phuket tourist attractions. It takes almost an hour to travel to the main, large beach! Limited food establishments and no nightlife in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. If one is looking for a secluded stay in Phuket, you have found the right hotel.
