We enjoyed our stay at the capsule very much. It was a nice small, down to earth place. The decor was simple, the hotel and rooms were tidy, and the common area included an entire kitchen and sitting room. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. A great choice for avoiding touristy resort areas, with a great location in phuket town, a genuinely thai area of the island. I recommend.
Shopping Tip:
Located within walking distance of historical phuket old town. Great shops and great food adjacent.

Amazing place in the heart of old town.The guys who run it are architects by day and hotel owners by night. It's quite, cozy, relaxed and the whole staff is awesome. A perfect place to explore the island from but also ideal for travelers just passing thru or cutting back from the chaos. Staying there is more like spending a few nights at a friends loft in NYC where you come and go as you please.

the place is great for someone who wants quiet time. design wise, amazing. good service. my room was ok. it got double bunk with a sink and a mirror. big room.
saw the architect room. was huge. love the interior. private bath and large window overseeing the garden. might consider next time if im there with a partner.
btw, it got kitchen downstairs where you could actually cook. but place was a bit too dark and too quite for me. dont like dat.
Hotel Feature Tip:
7-11 is a shop away. but restaurants are bit further. but lotsa choice of cafes. bout 10 mins walk from the wet market where buses to patong and other beaches are if you are on budget.

this hotel is very unique. agoda's booking had not been received by hotel, so they were a little suprised to see me! i had booked a capsule room - but if i recall the alternate rooms for two people were huge comparatively for about the same cost. i had a choice of either room on arrival, and selected the capsule. the room was really only big enough for a mattress and a small locker within the room. the room's walls do not go all the way to the top, so i recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper and perhaps an eyemask if soft light from the neighbours is going to bother you. the bath was a share bath - was very clean.
the building itself is like an old warehouse. on the bottom floor is the main kitchen where you are free to use the kettle for coffee and tea. the bathrooms are here as well. bring some bug spray - the large windows that open to the back let in all the mozzies! the common area features a generous seating area to make good use of the free wi-fi. not far from the weekend market - excellent market for noshing!
hotel was clean and bedding was comfy.
overall a great budget selection. i wasn't staying in phuket - just using it as a transit point, and this location was close to the old bus station (note there is a new one station where the majority of busses come and go from - so do your research - phuket is huge). airport is on the other side of the island - bus took i believe 1.5 hours to get to.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if you are there on the weekend, be sure to go to the weekend market - great food and i thought better 'deals' on the trinkets than in bangkok. for under 100 baht, i ate so much from a variety of vendors and everything was very tasty!

location - right in the middle of the town, next to the guan-im shrine at the circle that connects yaowarat / bangkok / ranong / rassada roads. 10-minute walk to the bus terminal which you can get the airport bus. walk 2 blocks and you get to the chino-portuguese / old town soi rommanee. perfect location if you want to stay a few days in town. though i would prefer to stay at the beach if staying for a long period.
service/staff - the staff is very helpful. this is one of the strongest asset of this hotel
environment/cleanliness - the hotel is quite quiet, suitable for those who prefer the more peaceful atmosphere. it is acceptably clean.
comfort - very comfort for the price. it's like a hostel with more privacy and comfort.
food - a lot of good and cheap restaurants along yaowarat road, pang nga road, which you can walk in less than 5 minutes.
facilities - the hotel is very well decorated and have very good facilities for the hostel price.
Hotel Feature Tip:
- If you take the taxi or van, print the map and tell the taxi to go to the circle that connects Yaowarat / Bangkok roads. The hotel is right next to the Guan-Im Shrine on Bangkok Road, about 50 metres from the circle.
- If you like staying in hostels, but want a little more privacy this time, this is the perfect place.
