Nothing at all.

Bad location, Shabby & dated & not very clean. Bad attitude from staff.

I stayed in the Phuket Merlin thinking it would make getting to the Phi Phi Islands easier. The location is terrible for this ---far away from the town & even further from the ferry port. The hotel is dated, & worse, is shabby & not too clean . The staff are not helpful, & nobody speaks english.The buffet breafast is awful, & does not cater to Western/International tastes.The room was OK, but not more than that. There are far better hotel choices in Phuket Town.

the daily shuttle bus to the beach hotels.

only some Asia tv channels.

for some days to go around the island the hotel is okay. if you had visited the other beaches by taxi or public bus, you can go with the shuttle bus (free of charge) to two merlin hotels in patong or nearby. if you will walk to the center of phuket town you can go by taxi (tuk tuk) they are really expensive or you walk 20 minutes.

The price and the shuttle bus to the sister hotels at the beach

A bit worn - but great for the price

We really like this place. And for the price you just can't beat it. The breakfast buffet was nice, as was the evening meal in the dining room and the room service. We were there for two weeks and had a great time taking the free shuttle across town to Patong Beach and the private beach of the Merline Resort. We would stay there again if we were ever in Phuket Town.

Hotel Feature Tip : Catch the shuttle at 11am to Patong and stay on the bus to go to Merlin Beach Resort -- be sure to book your return bus ride as you disembark
