it's a good hotel with a good location. there was a shortcut to the beach. it took 5-minute walk to the beach and 10-minute walk to the shopping center. but there was a huge disfunction in the bathroom. the water went everywhere during shower because of the bad design of the bathroom. the staff was nice but it took a very long time about 20 minutes to check out and we are in a hurry to the airport.

Surprisingly good for the price. I'd rate it a 3+ star based on the older construction, but room (not bathroom) had been renovated: new bed and mattress. Free high speed in-room internet a plus, too. Very helpful staff throughout the hotel.

Very nice stay at R Mar resort.We both, me and my wife very pleased staying here.The only exception is not having elevator in the new building aprat from the original one.Strongly recommend this hotel and definitely stay back again.

Location, Good Breakfast and the tour counter staff was excellent.

It was a good stay, but the hotel staff's english was not good enough. most of the time they needed the tour counter staff to explain to them. The Tour counter staff's Service was excellent. She was very friendly throughout our whole stay and also advised us which are the tours that were good.
Hotel Breakfast was good with a wide variety and the location of this hotel is excellent as it is walking distance to Bangla and seafood restaurants.

I have been to phuket countless times and I thought I might give this hotel a try. This hotel is by far the worst hotel I have stayed, much to my disappointment. The mannerisms of the hotel staff was well below what one would expect from the hospitality industry with the exception of a bell boy who was always smiling. Hotel charge for late check out. No shower amenities offered and was told to shower at swimming pool after we checked out. Reception has the "can't be bothered" attitude everytime you make an enquiry. One and only positive to this hotel is its location to Jungceylon Shopping Mall.
