hotel is located in central patong but is located away from noise of main street.
hotel has good access to beach at patong and is within walking distance of shopping and entertainment.
the room was a good size and well maintained. the pool and grounds were also well maintained.
staff were helpful and pleasent

Quiet hotel in Patong
Quiet and not many people

The hotel itself is not so busy so we really enjoy the time using the pool. Most of time the pool is empty. The hotel guests are also very quiet so we can really relax our time there while using the pool facility.
Restaurant Tip:
The beach is 5 min by walk. It's also very easy to access the main street for restaurants and shops.

hotel's location is great, it's within a short walk to the beach and nightlife; a quiet oasis inbetween a crowded area. the staff is very friendly and helpful. room is big and clean; just the curtains are not thick enough to keep the sun light outside. swimming pool is big and good maintained.

Great Hotel, close to Nightlife

pleasant hotel within 5 mins walking from bangla road. it is in a side street, quiet but still very close to shopping, massage parlors and restaurants. the hotel was very comfortable, with clean reasonably sized rooms, good breakfast and a nice pool. the hotel has a pleasantly landscaped, large court area. all in all a good place to stay

this hotel is tucked away nicely off of the main street. it is close to everything. never used a taxi during the entire stay. ask for the short cut to the beach. it's about a five minute walk. you can check out towels at the front dest to take to the beach. if you are going to book activities: scuba, snorkling, water falls, elephant rides, book it through one of the services in the town, or grab the info at the hotel and call yourself. an all day river rafting and elephant rides should cost about per person. it was through the hotel.

in the 2nd night i stay in phuket,after i played around the beach, i have itchy (may be because of the beach water), lucky i stayed in r mar resort & spa, its very convenient to find pharmacy, then only accross the street, i can find the lotion to reduce my rash.and also the hotel also clean help tp reduce my rash faster.everything just nice.

i stayed ar r mar for a few days with my wife and three year old daughter while a friend from the uk was visiting patong.
while it is centrally located, the hotel is tucked away from the noise of patong. in fact, the only noise problem came from the room next door, not that they were having a wild party, but you can hear conversations even held at normal volume. the guy next to us was obviously a busy man, and spoke on the telephone until the early hours. better sound-proofing would have been nice.
the room itself was fine, with a decent sized balcony.
the biggest plus point of the hotel were the staff, who were all extremely friendly and attentive.
i had read some bad things about the breakfast in other reviews, but found it to be perfectly adequate.

great location but thin room wall

Excellent location to access to the Patong beach and shopping area.
Also newly opened nice room and staffs were very friendly. BUT the wall was so thin that we could hear every single noise from both side rooms.
