Great hotel oasis makes for a great vacation

Had a great stay! Loved our pool side room with direct access to the pool. This was not the main pool area so no pool bar or restaurant which makes it more relaxed and private!
The hotel has 2 great restaurants with great food at fair prices! However the evening buffet is a little over priced.
Nice area with short wake down the hill to nice ocean front walk with small street shops and a nice little bakery/store. Just across from the hotel is a small supermarket and a pharmacy and at the hotel you find a very nice little boutique!!
Looking for a nice relaxed Thailand vacation spot this is a great find!!!

Better rates on transportation. Why can I get a taxi much cheaper by going a few steps across the street.
Staff at the front just did not seem to understand the need to take this seriously. You advertise wireless but my room had very poor connectivity. Many travels such as myself travel exclusively with iPads so please make sure that you have good reception if you advertise that you do.
Restaurant Tip:
Nice restaurants around the corner from the hotel as well as within the facility. Also very good prices. We would return to this locaiton without a second thought.

I was greeted with hot towels and a cold drink which was really needed.
My room and the hotel were superb.
Taxi driver at the airport did not know where it was so had to ring his office to get directions.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Secret cove bar is a 15 minute walk away and is superb.
