Seclusion and a bit of Paradise!
TOTALLY secluded. The staff were friendly. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The grounds are beautiful and they strove for presentation in all they did.
8.3
I've worked in a 5 Star Resort and of the Ranyatavi I'd say it is a great 4 Star hotel with 5 Star looks and potential.
It is TOTALLY secluded if you want a restful spot away from one and everything, including other guests.
The staff really tried to make guests feel welcome and did their best to be available and meet guests' needs, even with a bare minimum staff (sometimes the front desk clerk was used in their adjacent scenic and relaxing outdoor dinning area).
Transfers are NOT included in the price, despite the fact the hotel advert said hotel shuttle and airport transfers (with much prompting, they honored their advert- however, I think it was their understanding of English nuance that created the misunderstanding). Since the place is so secluded you need transport to get anywhere, and transport is expensive.
There is no night-life or day-life. You can relax, lay-out, or walk on long stretch of beach, wander the tiny village area, hold up in your room and escape from everything. The hotel does have a few brochures on excursions if you want to travel an hour or so to do something.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. Bathrooms are spacious enough and they boast a deep tub. However, the shower hose (which is too short!)is connected to the tub and there's no attachment on the wall for it to rest. So you must hold the nozzle handle while taking a shower, turn off the water while soaping oneself, so as not to have water spray EVERYWHERE. Also the thin plastic screens they have on the tub are not quite wide enough, so expect to have a wet floor after showering. But your big fluffy towels will soak it up!
Entertainment: The wireless internet service only extended to the closest guests rooms near their reception desk, where the router was housed. Or you could sit in the dinning area, where they tried to make guests feel welcome.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is really in Khok loy in Phangnga, just 15 min from Phuket Island. The motorbike ride to Phuket Town is about 1 hour 30min.
About 5 min away from the hotel there is a long range bus station for CHEAP transport.
There are 2 little markets down the road to the left of the hotel for a meager selection of snacks, soda, alcohol. The first shop (about 2 min. away) is pretty bare. The second shop (about 5 min.) has more products.
On Thurs. their is a local market set-up across from the hotel. It's a bit of a "cultural experience."

Amazing beautiful beach
The secluded beach, the pool, the layout of the hotel, the bed, the bathroom. We loved it. Had an romantic time and just relaxed with room service and a soak in the bathtub and swimming in the pool and ocean. Almost no other turists on the beach, think I saw 3 other people. Close to Phuket air port.

This resort is on the so called millionares mile. The hotel was highly discounted on agoda so I was a bit nervous going there but we loved it. We stayed on night on the way to Chiang Mai because the hotell is only 15 minutes from the Phuket airport. I would stay here again when I want some romantic time with my boyfriend. It was only 6 other people in the resort and the view from the pool over the ocean was amazing. It costs about 600 baht from the airport to go here and in the morning we payed 1000 baht for the resort to drive us to the airport. Stay here if you want 1-5 days of just relaxing and enjoing an empty beach and reading books. Probably next time I will try to find out if there is somewhere to rent motorbikes to get around in the area a little more. And be prepared to eat in same restaurant or try to find out if it possible to go to the 2 other resorts on the beach but they are really upscale and probably expensive.
Travel tip:
Dont miss out on walking the beach, and try to find out if you can rent a motorbike so you can drive around a bit.

Brilliant - I would HIGHLY recommend, truly.
Luxurious and spacious villas: very clean and in keeping with Thai style.
The service is second to none: the staff truly go out of their way to make you comfortable during your stay. Nothing sensible is ever refused. The service is extremely efficient and staff is pleasant and courteous.
Lovely infinity pool (surrounded by a 3/4 circle of tall palm trees) that blends into the sea.
The Thai food in the hotel restaurant is of high quality and the service efficient.
The sea (20 metres from the pool) is extremely warm and the beach is as deserted as they get (one or people strolling by every 15-20 minutes).
TRULY RELAXING.
9.3
I have stayed in many many four or five star hotels worldwide. Ranyatavi is one of the best value for money hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a villa (without even asking). I quickly realised the hotel was largely empty. This is not generally a good sign. In this case, I could not fathom why it was empty. Service, rooms, food, pool, beach... all of very high quality. The hotel stayed empty (we had the place to ourselves!!!) for the first x3 days and then guests started trickling in. The level of service remained high throughout. Our stay was extremely happy, extremely peaceful and refreshing. I am usually very quick to find fault with one or more aspects of a hotel's infrastructure or service. Here, I truly struggled. Go. You won't be disappointed.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are staying more than 3 or 4 days, ask to be upgraded to the next category room. The manager is extremely kind and upgraded my fiance and I upon arrival. The villas really are nice and spacious.

This hotel is bring me to real relax feeling. Hotel is clean, large room and romantic swimming pool. Location is too far from main road ( about 4 km. ) so you need to have car or transportation.
And have good restaurant around there in Thai food. Beach is very clear, clean and private. Breakfast is average. And staff are very very friendly.

Beautiful resort for relaxing
Pleasant entrance, beautiful gardens, lovely restaurant, tranquil settings
7.7
The resort had a lovely atmosphere, great for getting away from the world. Beach was clean with clear sparkling water. Reception girls were informatative and efficient. Restaurant staff gave very good service and the food was delightful. The villas were very clean with crisp fresh sheets and lovely soft pillows. Good feature of smoked glass with comfortable outside balcony. Swimmong pool had a lovely view of the sea and the garden.
Travel tip:
Take your own supply of snacks, because there is no 711 nearby.
