A Lovely hotel by the beach

We stayed at the hotel on two separate days. Both days we experienced the same high quality of room, cleanliness, breakfast & the food by the beach as well as the attentativeness of the staff. However the 2nd stay was spoilt by the fact that there were no double bed rooms available, despite our booking, and we were required to accept a twin bed room. Having spent 6 nights on a boat sleeping in separate berths we had been looking forward to sharing a comfy bed on our stay at the Renaissance. No explanation as to why our booking was not available was given.

House keeping staff suspicious of stealing money from my wallet but the GM immediately arrived and compensated that amount for a gesture of good will. Apart from that incident very nice hotel resort.
