We stayed 3 nights at the Royal Paradise and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool and grounds. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. Even though it was advertised as a 4 star hotel, in our estimation, it was not. The room furniture was old and in ill repair, the bathrooms were old and a bit moldy smelling, and the hallway carpeting was stained. The hotel is located next to the "night scene" area which includes some rather seamy establishments. If night life is what you wanted then the location would be perfect. If we ever return to Phuket we won't be staying at the Royal Paradise Hotel. There are many other hotels and B & B's to choose from.

Good proximity to beach, restaurant and bars. Nice view from high floor. Rooms seem old. a few staffs are not fluent in Enligsh as I had a wrong info Value for money in terms of good location and facility. Wish the room was a little newer and BIGGER. it was like one of those business hotels in Tokyo.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Its best to rent a motor bike to go around the town, as you would waste time if you would take a blue bus to go around, as you have to wait.

All round medium hotel (not sure if that's really a pro).
Superb location if you're there for the nightlife. Not much to say about this one. I know Phuket is expensive in terms of Thailand and the price was more than the same room would've set me back in say Pattaya or twice as much as Bangkok. However, you can't beat the location and it's only 3 minutes walk to Patong . . . However, there's another 1000Thb fee to bring a guest to the room, sort of like a bribe to the staff . . .
I wouldn't stay there again, but on the other hand I don't know if it's any better at other hotels in Pattaya with regards to price/value and guests.

Convenient to the nightlife and a short walk to the beach. An older hotel, could use some refurbishing, the hallway corridor lights did not work, the bedroom door looks like it was from 1950, I could hear the nightlife until 4 a.m. coming through the window. I would stay here again mostly for the location and the breakfast, but the hotel needs some refurbishing, the staff would not let me use their phone to call a cab, a little noisy at night, there are lots of "boy clubs" in front of the hotel, the rooms were clean, and the service was very prompt.
Nightlife Tip : A short walk to the clubs.

- Friendly staff
- Room has nice views
- Great buffet - Quite a bit walk to the beach.
- Charges extra for personal safety box.
- Charges extra for wireless room internet access.
I stayed at Royal Paradise for 3 days/nights. Probably I set my standards too high when it claimed to be a 4 star hotel. When I asked the receptionist to give me a room with nice view, they gave me an 8th floor room. While on the elevator, I asked the bellboy if my room has a nice view he said they should have given me a much higher floor. This hotel has a swimming pool, a gym and couple of restaurants. Expensive spa and laundry service. Try using asking stalls outside the hotel you'll find better prices.
Travel tip : - Rent a bike from one of the stalls outside the hotel and go explore.
- For laundry and massages, I recommend use stalls outside hotel as you can save more money.

Hotel Royal Paradise at Phuket actually have a big building consisting several level. This hotel has swimming pool and located near small shopping center around which offer various food stall at night. I think this hotel is quite far from beach, about 10 min walking distance. Poor room decoration and old furniture. Seems it was old building which has low standard building maintenance. And the aisle between room in this hotel is quite dark and appeared such a gloomy situation. Eventough the room in this hotel not good enough, but I can find halal food easily just beside this hotel, there is a halal food stall.
Restaurant Tip : There was a halal food stall just beside this hotel.

酒店位置很不错，位于Patong第二条主干道上，不是很吵，也很方便。房间很不错，很大很干净，还有一个大阳台。房间的各种设施很齐全，卫生间也很干净，有提供牙刷，去沙滩可以去前台领沙滩巾。早餐比较不错。酒店的Paradise Wing有观景电梯，可以看到整个Patong海滩，24层还有个中餐厅，可惜没去吃。酒店通过了ISO的认证。酒店有提供Shuttle Bus去沙滩。酒店有挂中国国旗哦。 服务员感觉不够热情，稍有些冷淡。早餐种类不是很多。希望酒店内的上网计费方式，可以提供按小时计费的方式。 总的来说，住在这个酒店还是不错的，我们住的Paradise Wing在10月底刚重新装修完，我们的房间感觉很新，而且是在一个拐角，有一个超大的阳台，只可惜不是在面向海的那边，不过山景也不错。酒店里住的韩国和日本人比较多，感觉酒店的服务员不够热情，不如我们住的其它两个酒店。酒店的地理位置还是不错的，出了门口正对着99大排档，周边的7-11，Exchange都很多，往左手边走大约5分钟，就是Bangla Rd和Jungceylon，很方便的说。
Restaurant Tip : 没在酒店吃过，应该不会很便宜，Patong满大街都是吃饭的地方，而且，出了酒店的那条路，吃的地方很多，而且比临海的那条街要便宜，可以挑选的余地很大

Good hotel..near the beach. The only point is the Internet is not free
and the Wifi is not in all rooms. Good hotel..near the beach..about 5 minutes walking if you don't like walking..a tuk-tuk take you to go to the beach..but We never need the service..We like the swimming pool..the room is enough for two person..the buffet for the morning has a lot of fruits..We can choice the continental breakfast or Asian breakfast..the only point is the Internet is not free..and the Wifi is not in all rooms but it's not important for us. A good view on the Patong beach and Patong Town.

rich breakfast,convenient traffic, delicious seafood nearby the hotel with reasonable price,beautiful Patong Beach and interesting little decorations in the walking street It was a good memory for me to spend two nights in Paradise Hotel after masses of business work. I enjoyed the rich breakfast, played interesting games on Patong Beach and took a drink in the bar or had a foot massage nearby. The only pity was that I had no time to catch the boat to PP Island because nobody told me that I need to get up very early to meet the boat at 7 or 8 o'clock. Maybe next time I'll get the chance.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : walking on Patong Beach;taking an elephant riding nearby;having a tour in the nearby islands;enjoying the rich fruits and Thai food in the opposite restaurant...

The hotel is located in a good area, pretty central in Patong. Interesting 10 minute walk to the beach. Its somewhat isolated. The facilities are quite old if you are staying in the original building which is the tall structure. All in all its a decent hotel. It has a good location and a decent pool, but if you are staying in the old building it will definitely not feel like a 4 star experience.
Hotel Feature Tip : You can upgrade to a newly renovated room or a room in the new wing, but it can be fairly expensive, I was quoted 200 for the upgrade to a renovated room and 700 to move to the new wing.

very good swimming pool, nice rooms with balcony Located in the middle of gay area. quite noisy during the night I stayed in Royal wing. The room was new with small nice balcony on swimming pool side. The location is good for nightlife. Just 5 minutes to bangla road. But the royal wing is too close to bars and it's been pretty noisy during the night. Also I had not been charged for guests in that hotel. The breakfast was fantastic with great choice. The nice swimming pool with a pool bar. I would stay in this hotel again.

Great view of Patong if you can get higher floor seaview rooms. Bar workers just outside the hotel can be annoying and uncomfortable for parents with small kids. I have stayed at this hotel during all my trips to Phuket. I like the location of this hotel as it is located near to banks, convenient stores, internet cafes, seafood restaurants but it can be very noisy during dark hours when the bars just outside the hotel start playing their loud music. Thank god the rooms were sound proof. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
