A bit of noise if you stay at the royalwing in the night from the surrounding gay bars infront of the hotel. This was my second stay at this hotel in patong. The hotel is ok but nothing more than that. The deluxe rooms in the royalwing is nice and near the pools in the hotel. The restaurants are ok too but abit pricy compared to what you can get just outside the hotel. The location is just great. You can walk to the nightlife in 5 minutes and many restaurants and shops are near. The hotel is located in the middle of the gay district of patong, and you will have to walk past all the bars and stuff when you go out. Overall its a good hotel, and the spa is very good too.
Nightlife Tip : Bangla road is in a short walking distance of the hotel if you need to party.

Nice employee, at central of Patong attraction, nice ambiance Bad smell at lobby and hallway including room. I stayed at superior room, and turn out its an old room with specific old building smell. However the hotel is quite nice, with really nice and helpful employees, nearby tourist attraction, really really at central point which within walking distance to everywhere at Patong.
It was my first time at Phuket, and totally enjoying Phuket including the Hotel, but next time i will have feluxe room at new building.
Restaurant Tip : Try seafood restaurant at across the street, its really nice. And also have a Thai massage at Hotel walking street..

The hotel is centrally located at Patong, within 5 minutes walk to beach, Shopping Centre, street markets, banks/money exchange booths, and Nightlife. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room decor is outdated, however, is clean and tidy. Large pool. Breakfast is standard affair. Enjoyable stay for a group of 6 in twin rooms. Great location in the middle of everything. Good value for money if you are sharing a room. Cheapest option is to book online as the rack rates at the hotels are substantially more expensive.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Lots of day tours and sight seeing options available in Phuket. Many travel agents available in the area where you can book with. One I thoroughly recommend is Jenny Tour. Excellent service, and relatively cheap prices.

Good location and friendly staff. Enjoyed the swimming pool very much. A bit too near the gay scene but can be avoided. All in all its a very nice hotel, food was ok and polite staff. very clean and tidy and our room was lovely, also very clean, we also was upgraded which was nice, as it was our honeymoon.Good distance from patong beach, 10-15 minutes walk, so far enough away from all the noise in bangla road.
We will deffinately return sometime in the near future, we had a great time in royal paradise hotel.

close to nightlife, bangla road etc. Quite noisy at night-time frombars and clubs in the next street, not so good if you want an early night. Nice hotel, good location. 5 minute walk from lively Bangla Road and 10 minute walk from the beach. Breakfast was nice, as there was a good variety of food to choose from. Rooms were clean as they were cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I was reimbursed for my 3rd day after leaving hotel early. Everything...read my review. This hotel is old and decrepit. They charge you for everything in your room so don't touch a thing (even the paper...I am serious). We left after one night because this place was literally depressing. Location is super close to Bangla road. Worst hotel I stayed at on my trip.
Nightlife Tip : Across the street from bangla road. You can stay here one night only and find another place to stay. The hotel is also walking distance to the Jung Ceylon mall which was really nice (there are cafes there with free WiFi too if you have a laptop).

Pool, Pool Bar, Friendly Staff, clean and spacious rooms. Buffet breakfast was OK, the paradise wing rooms need the bathrooms updated. The courtesy shuttle to the beach never seemed to run. Stayed at the Royal Paradise for 9 nights. The Pool is huge and has friendly staff at the Pool Bar. Overall Staff were very friendly. We had two groups of friends stay there at the same time. If you can stay in the Royal Wing Deluxe Rooms they are much better and worth the little bit extra. Buffet breakfast was the same each day and was OK, lacked a bit of variety. Some rooms in Royal Wing are noisy from nightclubs in the side street
Nightlife Tip : Lots of Gay night spots in the area. Massage at Happy Life was clean and cheap

NICE HOTEL. LOVELY ROOM, AND BATHROOM. NICE POOL AREA, WITH PLENTY OF SHADE. WALKING DISTANCE FROM PATONG BEACH, AND MARKET AREAS. SWIMMING POOL AND SURROUNDING AREA COULD DO WITH A GOOD CLEAN. LOOKED DIRTY, MORE TO DO WITH INTERMITTENT RAIN THAN DIRT, BUT DID NOT HAVE THE APPEARANCE OF A SPARKLING POOL AREA. We enjoyed the Royal Paradise Hotel. It was close to the nightlife, and walking distance to all the markets, and the beach. the service was good. The breakfasts were nice, and the swimming pool area was lovely and quite big, with lots of shade, and two swimming pools, however, it could have done with a good cleaning with a high pressure hose, which would have made it look much brighter, and more like a quality hotel.
Shopping Tip : close to the new JungCeylon Centre shopping centre, which has good quality shopping and lots of little cafes and restaurants.

the staff are very friendly. good service and nice rooms. convenent to everything...nice swimming pool a little noisy around because of the bars around but still ok.. i enjoyed all my days staying here..its a good hotel.the staff are friendly and the value of money we pay for the room was just a good deal. if you want night life you can just find all around in a short walk as well as shopping area..next time i will go back want to stay there again...
Nightlife Tip : convenient for everything...night life,shopping and 5 minutes walk to beach..you can find anything you want around.

Big & nice swimming pools (including free jaccuzzi) Small & old fashioned room design (Super superior) Friendly & helpful staffs; good breakfast with quite good range for a 3 to 4 stars hotel; big & nice swimming pools (including free jaccuzzi); free towel to outdoor island tour usage; free transfer to patong beach; Clean room with nice bathroom (bath tub+ good water pressure though it's in 11 floor); big balcony.
Overall it's a good value hotel with strategic location.
Travel tip : Strategic location with easy access to bangla road (night spots) & Jungcelyon (the biggest shopping mall in Patong), 3 7-eleven in front of hotel to your convenient for water & tibits, easy accessible tour counters available on the road for price comparison to all tour packages/airport transfer. What more do you want?

The hotel is a bit old, but the rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. I have stayed in Phuket 8 times and this was my first time at the Royal paradise. We stayed in the Royal Wing on the 16th Floor. I had booked a Superior Room but got a free upgrade. The room had a nice view. The pool area is very nice. And I do not think you can get a better value for the money.

Located in the middle of the town close to shops, food, night life and only a short walk to the beach. Noisy with the night life. Rooms are a bit run down and not the cleanest. The Royal Paradise is well located and the staff are helpful. On check in everything I had requested was taken care of. (Connecting rooms with the correct selection of bed sizes)
The wing we stayed in is a bit run down and some noise from the night life until 2:00 am. The new wing is apparently better but is right next to the noisiest bars and everyone I talked to said they could not sleep until the bars closed. Said we got American breakfast but was Asian breakfast with an egg station. Went to the international buffet one night but it was Asian international with some pasta.
Restaurant Tip : Lots of good places to eat close to the hotel.
