bad and old hotel
good location if u want stay in phuket town

good buget and good location if u want stay in phuket town, but very dirty room, many cockroaches in toilet, all staffs don't know how to smile, bad choice of breakfast. I will not stay there again. never!!!

this is an excellent hotel even though slightly off centre ... modern swimming pool and gym which are well maintained ... we had an enjoyable stay and would come again.

Had to ask for second key-card although girlfriend and I checked in together. Reception staff thinks you owe them money.
Given a twin sharing room when we wanted a shared bed. Had to flush 7 or 8 times after using the toilet, with after-smell from from the pipes to boot (refused a change of rooms - had a technician come in but didn't do much good). No ash tray available - smoke-free hotel (should've gone alcohol-free too in that case).
Furnishings ok but rooms are old and have dank odours. Hallways worse, smelled like someone attacked the place with a mothball explosive and took out the AC in the 1970's - which hasn't been repaired since. Do yourself a favour and give this hotel a miss.

A Great Stay - Even With Rain Every Day

We selected this hotel because of its proximity to the procession routes of the Phuket Vegetarian Festival. It is two blocks from the main vantage points.
We were surprised in regards to the quality of the food. The included breakfast was very good. The baked goods at Cafe 154 are delicious. The Dim Sum lunch was excellent. The menus at all dining venues in the hotel are varied with some food that would appeal to everyone - Oriental, Western, and Vegetarian.
The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient.

If you're tired of Patong beach, then consider one or two days in Phuket city. Hotel is a good place to explore the less touristic spots on Phuket, a small old town, some temples. Especially interesting in November for the Vegetarian Festival.
Also lies on the way to the ferry to Ko Pi Pi.

Ok place to stop over during transit

We just stayed one night whilst we waited for a connecting flight out of Phuket. The hotel was nice for 1 night although I'd only use it for transit purposes. The rooms were ok but could do with a bit of an upgrade. The hotel offer their own transport to and from the airport which is very expensive. I was disappointed when we asked them to call us a taxi on check out and they refused saying we would have to use their transport (at double the cost), we ended up going onto the street and hailing one ourselves - not what I expect of customer service.

A good quality hotel in a central location

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel while on Phuket on holiday. A good standard throughout in a pretty good location for Phuket town. Room on tghe 12 floor had sea views and was a good size with tea coffee and sat TV. AC worked fine and I found it a great base for exploring the town. Breakfast had a European/Asian/Contininetal mix that fitted the bill. The english breakfast components (eggs, bacon, sausage, beans) were all on hot trays that did not seem to work as the food was cool at best. Needed to be hotter. All in all would certainly stay there again if in Phuket.

Review of The Sea Patong Hotel
New hotel, Reasonable price, Good location (near the sea) and staff with courtesy

It is a new hotel with reasonable price and is located near the sea. It is also not so far from the shopping area.
The room provided was new and spacious. The staff were courteoous.
We were not satisfied with the water pressure (low) in the bath room.
However, we will recommed this hotel to friends and relatives when they have a plan to visit Phuket.
