great location, nice rooms, very friendly and accommodating staff. small but nice pool area, although no one was really using it. the hotel is basically across the street from the beach so that's a nicer option. it's around the corner from bangla road, which is the main night life strip. i did have ants in my room, so they came and sprayed the area. the ants came back 2 days later when i was checking out, but this is thailand and there are going to be lots of bugs around. my only real complaint is that the ac is kind of weak, at least in my room. it cooled the room enough for most people, but i like my rooms really cool so not quite enough for me. oh and the wifi is also weak in some areas. i had to sit outside on my patio to get internet access as it kept dropping off in my room.

Great hotel with a great location

This was my first visit to Phuket and I had done some research about which hotel to stay at. Safari Beach Hotel kept coming up with positive reviews so I gave it a shot. I'd have to say the reviews were well warranted.
The best thing about Safari Beach is the location. It is literally across the street from Patong Beach and around the corner from Bangla Road. Everything you could want for both day and night activities.
The room itself is a little dated looks wise but clean and functional with a nice bed and bathroom. That's all you really need right? The staff is also very nice and helpful. I was very happy with my stay and would greatly recommend Safari Beach Hotel to anybody.

excellent location near the walking street, friendly reception and staff. good break fast. the hotel has an excellent sea food restaurant, which offer fresh fishes, lobsters...fresh from the sea - however it is often very full.

Safari Beach - Cheap Room, Great Location
Perfect location and cheap hotel

Stay was great.
Staff were very friendly.
Rooms were basic, but location was perfect for nightlife, beach, and partying.
Hotel owned restaurant next door and across the road with awesome food.

if you are there in phuket for nightlife this hotel is the one. nice grounds and very close to all the action. you will hear the clubs till 6am in the morning, but if your drunk, who cares. everything work well in the hotel and you can wake up late (1 pm ) and still get you breakfast that was included in the hotel price.

you are in the action there, beach just across the street

Value for money, Great location for anyone interested in night life. Beach was also just across the road. Restaurant food was good.Room size and cleanliness was excellent. Staff always had a smile on their faces. Would stay here anytime, recommended
Nightlife Tip:
Enjoy talking to the small bar owners, play a game or two. Great fun

awesome staff, they were very good and made our stay very enjoyable. only a very short walk to the beach and bangla road. the food and drinks wasn't over priced which was another plus. we stayed in a deluxe room which was good for the price, nothing fancy but did the job. would definitely stay here again.

beautiful tropical setting and well kept grounds. small but nice pool. fairly quiet given its very busy location. if you want to be close to bangla road yet not to noisy then this is for you. breakfast is decent but nothing to write home about. lots of restaurants nearby. if you are here for the nightlife then this is the spot to be.
