Spiced up honeymoon
Beach view room is awesome with a king sized bath tub for 2. Nights in the room is a bit freaky wth the sound of the waves.. (Never know if the tsunami is coming again).. but it was very thrilling.. Swimming pool is very well surrounded with a nice garden and a matress to relax after a nice swim. And the attached coffe shop is very trendy..

On the overall, my stay was very nice and relaxing.. Staff is always very helpful and warm.. Very accessible to all attractions (Pubs, shopping, food courts, massage centres, spa centres and the beach). The beach view room is very comfortable and very clean. Nice entertainment also in the vicinities. I recommend the safari beach hotel to all.. couples, lonies and group friends as well..

Safari Beach Hotel, Patong Beach, Phuket.
- very good location surrounded by all kind of restaurants and pubs.
- 1 min walking distance to Pub Street.
- Beach is just right in front of the hotel.

This is my second visit to Phuket. First visit was back to 2008 and when I walked along the Patong beach, I spotted Safari Beach hotel and I told myself that this would be my next hotel to stay if I ever visit Phuket.
When I planned to visit Phuket, I decided to book Safari Beach Hotel and it was a correct decision as I like the hotel very much - close to Pub Street, Night Market, Shopping Mall and is surrounded by many restaurants!

Safari beach hotel review
Location close to the beach, food excellent.

The hotel has been suggested me by a friend of mine who came to Phuket a couple of months before me. I decided to spend a weekend there, two days and one night. Staff's courtesy is classic Thai smiling lovely style, nightlife is just awesome, and lot of activities on the 100m far beach. Can't wait to come back!

It is not recommended. First of all, it is the water pressure is too low till we cannot even bathe properly. Swimming Pool is rather small compare to the picture. Some staff attitudes are rather a bit rude. The noise level is ok. It is not as bad as describe by other reviewer.

Very Central Location

We booked to stay in an upgraded room (safari room) however when we checked in, the room smelt and wasn't what I had expected from the pictures. I went to reception and spoke to them and with no problem at all they moved us to another room which was perfect. The breakfast in the morning is great with lots of choice and great service. The reception staff were really helpfull and always able to give us advice and tips! We ate in the resturant 'Savoy' one night and we received 10% discount as we were guests at the safari hotel! Hotel is 30 seconds to the beach. Its right next to Bangla road for the nighlife!Lovely hotel...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Diving...At the pool there is a guy called 'Ood' who does diving trips! He's fab and speaks very fluent English...Its a must if you enjoy diving or Snorkelling!

The Safari Beach Hotel is excellently located on the sea-front road just a few metres from the busy Bangla Road bar area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed there several times over the years and service levels are consistent. This is not a 5-Star hotel, but offers comfortable beds and clean, reasonably spacious rooms. Bathrooms are perfectly adequate and other services like TV / DVD etc are standard as would be expected.
