Lush, pool, small, relatively quiet in the hustle of Patong
We enjoyed staying at the Salathai. Disappointed to find we didn't have adjacent rooms although we had asked a number of times (family with children spread across two rooms). A couple of other small problems (you get them everywhere) were sorted out quickly and with a smile.
While it seems quite open to the street, we were surprised by how quiet breakfast was as well as the pool area during the day.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Loads of tour operators in the same street so easy to get a good deal. Hotel had one DVD player which was no charge if you were lucky enough to get it.

Good location, quiet, cozy.
A little worn, but excellent value.
A very nice boutique hotel, close to beach, restaurants, bars, etc. The pool was very pleasant, expecially on the hot days and when the sea was under the red flag (strong currents). It is surprisingly quiet given that the street (a busy one) is only meters away. It was a very comfortable hotel with pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.
Restaurant Tip : There are several very interesting seafood restaurants along the coastal rode going south of the hotel.

Location excellent.Staff excellent.Rooms comfortable.
This is the best hotel that I have stayed at in Patong.The staff are friendly,rooms cleaned well and hotel is guest friendly.The restaurant and room service are reasonably priced and service is second to none.I was only able to book 6 nights through Agoda but the hotel gave me a reasonable price to extend the stay by 5 days.A late check out was given at no extra charge and baggage stored until time to leave.The location is central to everything but still quiet.
Shopping Tip : Market stalls behind Jungceylon Shopping centre best value for money.
