Great place to stay in Phuket

From the airport, it's going to cost 800 Baht for a taxi regardless of how much you negotiate and it takes about 45 min to get to Pataong. You can rent scooters right in front of the hotel for $300 baht a day and you just need to bring a copy of your passport and leave a deposit. WE did this everyday and negotiated 500 baht for 2 nice scooters that take you anywhere you want to go. I met a friend here and we had our own rooms. The hotel has WiFi that is sufficient. Each room has a view of the pool from it's balcony or front patio. The staff is attentive and kind, with all the normal Thai Smiles that you'd expect. I will stay here again. It's a good value for the money
