Close to beach, great location, close to attractions.

small pool

This hotel's location is within walking distance to the beach and also to the hub of Patong. The hotel's staff were friendly & helpful, always full of smiling faces. The pool is small but the surrounding is quiet enough for a good rest. Will be back to Salathai again the next visit....for sure.

Close to beach and Bangla Road. Very quiet. Excellent staff service. Free internet.

Shower is not enclosed only a curtain so bathroom floor gets wet but not hard to dry.

We had a standard room, quite roomy with balcony. This trip we have stayed five hotels and this was by far the best. Staff are excellent. Breakfast was very good. Has free internet. Swimming pool a little small but this is more like a boutique hotel. This is our second stay in this hotel and will stay at this hotel again. 2 minutes walk to beach, 5 minutes to Bangla road (Night Life)and yet very quiet at the hotel.

Shopping Tip : Main shopping centre at end of Bangla Road best shopping downstairs (Bazzar) if you go through this centre to next street hundreds of cheaper market stalls (but Phuket town always cheaper).

I love the welcome drink, very nice. Deluxe room is spacious, and near swimming pool. Room is clean and shower water is big. Walking distance to the pantong beach. Very convenient to 7-11, night market or food store.

No LCD TV, but with the low room rate, it is acceptable. Breakfast is less of choice.20 min's walking to Carrefour is a little too long under big sunshine especially when you are carrying lots of stuff. Taxi would cost 200b from Carrefour to hotel.

You can take bus to the Phuket town. It only costs THB25/pax. The bus stops whenever you want to get on. It's running on the main road next to the beach which is a two-minute walk from Salathai.

Beautiful swimming pool; Garden enviroment; Large room

It is not easy to open the door.

The hotel is on Patong Beach. It has a beautiful swimming pool and garden enviroment. This is a comfortable place to relax. The room and toilet looks tidy and large. They offer water and some fruit for free in the room. And the inn is close to beach, restaurant and shopping place. Not bad, I like it.

Restaurant Tip : Ask the waiters, there are some restaurants that are cheap and delicate.

Has everything you would generally find in more upmarket resorts at a very good room rate.

I fell on my feet with the Salathai. You cannot go wrong for the money or effort.

Shopping Tip : The "touting" is fairly full-on around Patong. The locals have a knack of knowing your "greeness". Not much should be over 600 baht ($AU 20). If you are not interested, politely say "no" and move on. We also found it cheaper and more convenient to hire a motorcycle from the hotel and explore that way. Tuk-tuks are convenient but can add up.

More like a boutique hotel therefore service is much more personal and efficient.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Beware of having photo taken with the LadyBoys in the street as they will charge 100 baht for each of them in the photograph. Establish price first.

Location, staff, clean.

Not great price

I like the resort. The rooms are not very new, but its a good size and everything works. The room is also well maintained and clean, which makes it a comfortable stay. The resort is well run, friendly staff. The location is in a convenient location off Patong beach. Its close to the beach and Bangla street, but far enough from the action that its quiet.

They have a baby-sitter, I booked one for two hours, but came back after 1.5. Somehow I figured I had to pay for the two hours as I "booked" that, but when I got the bill at departure they only charged the 1.5 hour. It's a small thing, I know, but sure nice, and not what one really is used to at hotels in Thailand.

Restaurant Tip : Breakfast is of course included, but further more you also get a discount if you dine there. And it's for sure a restaurant in the better end.

Hotel very good location, away from the coast near the beach from the night market food stalls near great shopping is also convenient to Carrefour 10-15 minutes. Hotel little, green good, very clean, very lovely swimming pool

Hotel bathroom shower some older design is not too reasonable.

Minibus just off, there is enthusiasm to help employees salathai luggage. Also not a small room with a small balcony, overlooking the swimming pool. I like salathai, living in a very pleasant feeling salathai. Breakfast of many species, sufficient choice. Patong nightlife to enjoy living in a convenient and salathai quiet, feel comfortable! Recommend!

Shopping Tip : Do not take too many things, near Carrefour and boots, to facilitate the purchase.
