Good for family ,close to beach large rooms
Temperature controlled swimming pool, balconywith every rooms, large beds
9.7
Very well maintained hotel, nice garden and pool. The rooms were large with decent size beds, balcony and a large pool. Two storey resort, with the breakfast area overlooking the streets, so gives a cosy feeling. 2-3 mins walk to beach and to the shopping areas and resaturants. Kids loved the pool. Only bad thing i experienced during my 3 days stay there was a 1 hr electricity off on 2 days during which the AC will not work - not really the hotel's fault, it was a power shut down in whole patong , but kind of inconvenience in the hot summer. Overall highly recommended for staying with family.

Fab little 3* hotel close to everything in Patong
8.7
This was our 4th hotel in a 2 week stay in Phuket and was by far the friendliest. Check-in was fast and efficient and the staff knew my name on arrival. The rooms are average size and simple but clean. It had a flat screen TV, safe and a decent size shower room with nice hot showers. What was great about this little hotel is its location. It takes only 3 to 5 minutes to walk to the middle of Patong beach and about 10 minutes to the main drag of Bangla Road. Plenty of restaurants and shops around, so no need for taxis. The hotel has free wifi throughout and complimentary drinks in the minibar. In reception, there are 2 PCs to access your emails if you are still travelling without any other gadgets. One of the PCs is an iMac, so Apple users won't feel left out.
The breakfast has all the basics and the omelettes are freshly cooked. Cheese selection was poor and there were no low fat options, but for what we paid, we got plenty. In general, the food was nicely served and quite tasty, but don't expect refined cuisine.
So overall, I would go back to this quiet, value for money gem in busy Patong which delivers on all the mod cons without pretense but with a genuine smile.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Free wifi throughout and both windows PC and iMac in reception => nice touch

Lovely hotel in a great location
Rooms were clean, large pool with childrens pool & spa, was always kept clean.
8.3
This hotel is great for families, the pool is fantastic with a separate children's pool & also a spa. Rooms are a good size, except if you need to have an extra roll-a-way bed. It is a short walk to the beach where they also have plenty of restaurants. Also a short walk to Bangla Road, plenty of shopping and nice restaurants. The only negative I have is that the air conditioning in our room did not work properly, and the management failed to fix even though they were told about it twice.

Great Hotel with all staff smiling all the time
Well train staff, very friendly & Always with a smile on their faces
8.7
I am from Singapore and i stay 2 nights at Salathai from 10 - 12 May 2012.
Overall a very good experience and i am very please with the service they treat their guest. I can say they have the greatest staff ever. Always service with a smile and the reception staff makes me feel at home, welcome and very relax.
Location is good 5 mins walk to the beach. Shops are around the resort selling anything you want to buy.
Only thing is that the room floor is always feel sandy but it does not matter me much.
Will definitely stay at SALATHAI again and recommand this resort to all my friends...
Cheers !
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a car to explore Phuket island yourself. It is much cheaper then to book a vehicle / taxi to take you around. Remember always to drive defensivly and beware of motorcycle on Thai roads.
Petrol is cheap, for 1.3cc half tank is around 700 THB.

Great hotel. friendly staff
9.7
Will definately go back. The airport transfer went off without a hitch. When the AC did not work we were shifted to a junor suite at no extra cost. The staff always had a smile, good breakfast spread. Beach across the road, yet room was quite.
We were even given a packed breakfast on the last day.
