Only stayed here for 2 nights. Good clean big room. The bathroom was small and very simple but clean. I had free wifi in my room. The location is not so good. More than half hour walk to city centre. But all in all good value for money.

Always a pleasure to stay at Samkong Place

Pleasurable as always, this was my fourth or fifth visit. Discovered the free toast and coffee for breakfast this time. The hotel is on the local 'pink bus route' which runs into the centre of town for 10 baht. It takes a bit of figuring out where the route starts and ends but it beats 300 baht taxi fare. Not an easy hotel to access without a motorbike or taxi but great value. Only minor problem is that their wireless internet lacks power so reception on a laptop and particularly a tablet is very poor even if you are located right next to the transmitter, otherwise a great budget hotel

Pleasant, comfortable and clean.
Proximity to Hospital, Friendly Staff, Large Clean Rooms

As a regular visitor to the hospital I choose the hotel for its proximity. Although the hotel has no dining facilities there is a the Pomidore restaurant fifty metres up the street which provides excellent Thai and Italian food in the evening. There are also a number of thai food cafes close by. For a short stopover it is fine but for a longer stay the facilities are insufficient. The staff are all very friendly and you are made to feel most welcome. The single/twin bedded rooms face west so you can sit out on the balcony overlooking a wide square as the sun sets. The double bedded rooms face East over an alleyway and have little or no view out. Location in relation to Phuket Town centre is poor and although it lies on the No. 1 'Pink Bus Route' which costs only 10 baht you would need to know a bit about the places to get on and off - a taxi would be easier. Basically it is fine for my particular needs but others might want to be closer to either the town or the beach.

The hotel is centrally located, very close to the Bangkok Hospital. But it's some distance from Patong Beach and Phuket Town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms are large and very clean. Nice budget place for a business trip. Highly recommended.

this is the recommend hotel in town of phuket , it near bangkok hospital phuket which you can enjoy nice local food of phuket and can go to central festival phuket in 10 min , and cheap price , but if you want to enjoy the beach , it far way about almost 20 KM and it not easy to go there , the environment is quiet also
