Nice resort with a lot of beautiful Thai traditional style of garden. There is very good
hospitality . We were comfortable & convenient for all excursion outside.
Too small swimming pool & slightly small superior room. No parking lot. Far away from the beach.
Sawaedee village resot & spa is a nice 3 stars hotel that is very nice of Thai traditional style & very nice garden. Even it's too small swimming pool & slightly small superior room; but after stayed there with good hospitality of all staff there it worth. Actually the price of the room is very cheap as we mentioned to the satisfaction we got. It maybe better if located on the beach. I may stay at the villa instead of superior room next time .
Hotel Feature Tip : This hotel is rather far from the shopping center & night life center . It's pretty not convenient about transportation. It would be good if the hotel take responsibility with this.

Superb Thai-inspired architecture..beautiful hotel. Location is quiet, and only takes 5 mins walk to Kata. Nice place to chill & relax, away from the party crowd & noise.
Rooms are a tad small & close to each other. So, if you like lots of space, you may find the hotel abit to squeezy, especially if it is running full with guests. We book a 3 hour Spa package with the hotel spa, but total treatment time was only 2.5 hour. Better to check what constitute 3 hour, does it include the time for you to change, fill up forms or purely 3 hour treatment time.
Rated one of Thailand's most beautiful hotel..indeed it was. Rooms are beautiful. Choose the garden view near to the restaurant if you want to feel less squeezy (vs staying at the rooms facing the pool). Staff tried their best to accomodate you where possible - they gave me an early check in (my flight arrived early). Overall, a nice place to chill, and yet not too far from the beach & party areas.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a motorbike for THB 250 a day and drive to the Cape & south of Phuket for beautiful lookout.

- nice shaped pool with poolbar
- quiet
- breakfast choice
- 10 minute walk to beach
we loves this small hotel. it is like an oasis and we enjoyed laying at the pool. the rooms are not the biggest but had all the amenities needed. We also had internet for free in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. there is a free shuttle service to kata beach. beach is very nice. would come here again.

Sawasdee Village was quiet, enchanting, beautiful ... a real tropical get away
The Baray Spa was excellent
Too many mosquitoes
Hotel needs to include packets of insect repellant in their bouquet of offerings
Walking into Sawasdee Village was a breathtaking experience - felt like a real natural, tropical get away, with modern conveniences. The staff were friendly and service efficient. The rooms were lovely - with gorgeous wooden finish. The mattress was hard, but other than that, the room was comfortable and more than met my needs. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the beach, and the hotel provides regular hourly shuttle services to and fro. The walk itself is pleasant - with lots of shops, restaurants and bars along the way to make it more interesting.
The Baray Spa is fabulous. Treated myself to two treatments - and felt like a new person after each one. A little pricey compared to the parlours outside the hotel, but the benefits made it truly worth it. Would recommend anyone to try it out.
All in all a great experience.

Fantastic hotel. The service and staff was great! The hotel area are amazing, you feel like you walk into a fairytale.
The background music, the smells, the lights. It is like a small oasis.
The spa was also fantastic.

Beautifully decorated place, quiet, great staff
I just love this hotel! The place is beautifully decorated. The staff is great, being very smiley, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is not on the beach side but you can walk there easily or take the shuttle. I was initially supposed to stay there two nights but extended to four (the max I could do in Phuket).

PC and Internet access in the room, which was great for transferring photos etc.
Drinks at the pool bar were 3 times more expensive than taking a beer from your room to the pool!
The hotel was fantastic value for money and the spa treatment, although, more expensive than outside the hotel, is an absolute must. The setting, service and massages are out of this world and to die for. The rooms were a tad on the small side, but as you are not always in your room, when on holiday, it did not matter. Our shower area was very spacious.
Hotel Feature Tip : go across the road to the guest house for cheap beer.

1. Me and my wife liked the ambience, presentation and the resposiveness of the housekeeping staff.
2. The resort is only 5 min walk from Kata beach which is very beautiful and peaceful.
1. We experienced a lot of mosquitoes in the room and outside near the swimming pool.
2. Besides, buffet breakfast has very few options for vegetarian guys.
The check-out process was not very smooth. We had packed our dirty clothes (of the check-out day) in the laundry and beach bag and we were asked by the reception to PAY for the laundry bags or take out our dirty clothes and put them in some other plastic bags. It caused a lot of inconvenience and discomfort to us. These petty items does not cost much to the hotel but this type of behavior can cost business and loss of customer's faith.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The resort is very well placed on Kata beach. The place is very nice and quiet. So, if you are looking for a place to relax- in or outside hotel then this is a right place for you.

Amazing service, beautiful environment
Nothing at all to improve
The hotel was absolutely beautiful; away from the seedier parts of Phuket, it was like a sanctuary. The service was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Good quality included breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Travel tip : For getting to the hotel, you can take a shuttle bus from the airport which is significantly cheaper than a taxi (ie 180baht per person) but Kata is usually the last stop so it takes quite a while.

The hotel has a great Thai Atmosphere. Different from chain hotels, you feel you are in Thailand there. It's clean, decoration is really beautiful, staff friendly and helpful, the swimming pool is nice and clean, the restaurant is good, breakfast is satisfactory and in a good variety, the location is really good! Internet in the room is a must!
Room a bit compact, It's not in front of the beach but really close, about 10 minutes walking (and hotel provides shuttle every hour). Massage is really expensive and swimming pool bar is over priced (better to consume beer from the minibar into the room - almost 1/3 price!)
We had a great experience in this hotel! Kata beach is really nice - MUCH BETTER THAN PATONG BEACH. We are glad we decided to stay there. Calmer but with everything you need close. The hotel is beautiful and charming, clean and very good value for money - better than many other hotels that were even more expensive. WE really recommend this hotel for a very good experience in Thai.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you don't know where to stay in Phuket, Kata Beach is a very good option. Patong is really crowed and I wouldn't recommend it for couples. Kata Beach, besides the beautiful and calm beach, as many restaurants, bars, shopr, markets keeping a calmer atmosphere.

Beautiful surroundings, very original, peaceful, nice pool, restaurant and spa
staff did not always speak english
We went to the hotel for a weekend break from KL and were very pleasantly surprised. The surroudings are beautiful, the decor is very well done and original. We also loved the spa. The beach is only a short walk away and there were plenty of places available.

- Great A/C
- In room computer with relatively fast internet
- Nice decent sized bathrooms
- Intimate setting
- Excellent breakfast
- Very friendly staff
- Not many, room was a touch small, however we did opt for the cheapest
Enjoyed my stay at Sawasdee Village. Stayed in the smallest room which is occupied by a King bed which takes up about 75% of the liveable space. Overall the room was clean, well A/C'd and good bathroom with computer in room with fast internet. Pretty pool and intimate setting. Not sure it is a 4 star but at about $70 a night seemed like a good value to me. O and great breakfast every morning.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel runs free shuttle service to Kata beach.

Beautiful hotel. Gardens throughout. Nice pool. Fish ponds, bridges. Very picture-worthy. Good Thai dishes. with wide selection at on-site restaurant (also very scenic). Western dishes also available, but didn't try. Have free shuttle to beach, or can walk there in ~10 minutes.
Didn't sample the on-site spa. Very high end/pricey. Regular Thai massage parlors available all up and down the street for a cheap alternative.
Beautiful hotel. Gardens throughout. Nice pool. Fish ponds, bridges. Very picture-worthy. One of the most visually pleasing hotels I've ever stayed at. Good Thai dishes with wide selection at on-site restaurant (also very scenic). Western dishes also available, but didn't try. Room (Garden view) is simple: large comfortable bed, computer/television with free internet access. Nice porch area with table/chairs overlooking the garden areas. Have free shuttle to beach, or can walk there in ~10 minutes. Didn't sample the on-site spa. which was very high end/pricey. Regular Thai massage parlors available all up and down the street for a cheap alternative. Cheaper places are available in Kata area, but would definitely stay at Sawasdee Village again: very relaxing, scenic setting makes it a good value for the money.
Restaurant Tip : On-site restaurant is excellent.

beautiful hotel, very good service and staff, good restaurant, nice breakfast buffet, very nice swimming pool, internet and computer available at bedroom
bedroom need to be updated, mine had a hole by the bathroom window (we stayed by the pool view rooms)
we had a very nice time at the hotel but we were disapointed with our room. The hotel is vey nice and well taken care, I think they need to do the same with bedrooms
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Boat tour to Phang Nga Bay and Phi Phi Islands is amazing
