Nice garden and water features but room too small

I have never stayed in a hotel room so small and there is not much privacy at all. Everything is so close to each other. The setup of the garden and water features are nice .

this hidden treasure is a must do in phuket. i was just blown away by the layout of the place, the cultural feel and attention to detail is really lovely. small but relaxing resort, great staff, always happy to oblige, and the villa's - you have to see them to believe them-they're like something out of a morrocan grande villa! on the down side, the standard rooms are small & getting a little tired, nonetheless very comfortable.

Very good hotel~ 2nd time to book this hotel through agoda. It is full of Thailand features in the hotel no matter on decoration or the setting up. We have a very good impression of this hotel

one of the best places i have ever stayed at. i would be definetly coming back here next time i stay in phuket. staff are so helpful and would go out of there way to help you.
Travel tip:
Do the thai cooking course st the hotel. Its alot of fun.

great environment but vgery small rooms

arrived late in the day and the first room allocated was tiny and in a backward spot away from the pool.complained it was not what i had booked....a superior pool garden room. they could not remedy till the following day but things were fixed following midday. appatently all rooms are very small so if you re bigger than 5ft you might want to try elsewhere.

we stayed here on august 2011 & during check in process the hotel staff gave us cold towel and welcome drink,it was a great things..the hotel it self very beautiful & unique.full of plants everywhere, with a gorgeous restaurant, great breakfast buffet, awesome cooking class,and the room really nice rooms, although a tiny bit on the tight size. the staff was great very politely and helpful special thanks. the tv in the room serves as a computer as well, so its super nice to have a big huge computer screen with free internet whenever you need it.
the management should be proud of the quality of staff with such beautiful morning smiles and greetings.
we really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back again and will recommend the sawasdee village to others

What a great hotel! Entering this resort really gives you the feeling of escaping daily live. Fantastically set up, with every day fresh flowers everywhere and every night candles everywhere. Love the swimming pool and the friendly staff. The breakfast was perfect.
They also have a pool villa area, that looked even more fantastic. Maybe next time when I got a raise ;)
Would go back immediately! Will recommend it everybody. It makes sense this hotel is at Thailands top 50 hotels list.

we had a great time simply relaxing, enjoying the beautiful pool, and the outstanding service. my partner's birthday occurred while we were there, and without asking, they delivered a cake to our table and made me look very thoughtful (thank you, thank you, thank you!). they said they got his birthday off of his passport when we registered. it's only a 15 minute walk to kata beach, the nicest beach in the area in my opinion. also, there was an excellent mix of budget eateries as well as high end, excellent cuisine. highly recommend staying here!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The massage place just next to the entrance (on the left as you're facing the entrance) is fantastic and they also provide next day laundry service. Also, as you walk out of the entrance, turn right, walk down the road, then turn left to access the more upscale restaurants and the nicer entrance to the beach.
