Amazingly unique Thai style boutique hotel
absolutely gorgeous decorations and amazing setting
9.7
Sawasdee Village is one of the most amazing places i've ever stayed at. The decor is beautiful and serene, you feel like you are walking into Thai heaven. There are little canals throughout the property as well as amazing Thai style architecture and decor. The rooms are Thai style and are beautifully and tastefully welldone. The staff are great and the restaurant serves delicious food! The hotel is very well thoughout- they have little cords in the shower so you can hang your swimsuit to dry and they give you beach towels as well!
This is an amazing deal.

Amazing decor and atmosphere
Beautiful pool atmosphere, wonderful staff, Excellent restaraunt
9.7
We felt well taken care of, one of the most intimate and beautiful smaller resorts
Restaurant Tip:
Favorite restaraunt Eightfold was very close, ask for the Jungle Curry which is not on the menu... some of the best Thai curry ever!

Lovely hotel but small rooms & poor breakfast
6.3
The hotel location is good. So many cheap massage shop around the hotel.
The room a bit smaller than expected but very lovely.
Breakfast in the hotel was a bit dissapointed. Not so many choice and the taste not really good.
You can walk to the Kata beach from the hotel. Its only take 10 mins. You also can do window shopping on the way to the beach. Also many restaurant around there.
Restaurant Tip:
Go walk to Kata/kata Noi town you will find many restaurant there.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel with wonderful service
Private, swim up Bar, Lovely rooms with beautiful outlook.
9.3
We absolutely loved this hotel and would definately revisit here. We did the Thai Cooking class with Tu and thoroughly enjoyed it. Met lots of fantastic couples mainly from Australia around the swim up bar at Happy Hour. We have no hesitation in recommending Sawasdee Village Resort and Spa to anyone that wants a little quieter resort than the great big ones with Traditional Thai elegance and service.
Nightlife Tip:
If you want the real nightlife experience you would have to
travel to Patong and Bangla Road.

Sawasdee Village Resort & Spa
Good amenties in the hotel, swimming pooll.
6.3
Honeymoon stay, was good, could of done with better service as it was our honeymoon, treated like any other guest. No upgrade provided.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Kata beach is 10minutes walk, and has a free shuttle service from the hotel each our though after 6pm you are on your own which is a pity.

Good hotel with some lovely touches
Beautiful decor and gardens
7.3
The staff and level of service at this hotel were very high - we were greeting warmly with complimentary drink on arrival even though we were quite late.
The room was beautiful, with traditional thai style interior - however, was a little small. The pool again was lovely and the pools with koi carp add a sense of tranquility. The restaurant where breakfast is served is visually impressive (and the food is yummy!) so worth eating here once or twice in the evening.
It is about a 5-8min walk to Kata beach which boasts beautiful white sand and blue sea with good waves for surfing. There are some fun bars and lots of spa/massage places nearby and it is set a little away from the main tourist bit near the beach which is nice.
Nightlife Tip:
Turn left out of the hotel and play connect 4 in the 'hollywood bar' across from the restaurant. Then continue up the road till you get to the 'blues' bar on the right hand side - they have live music and great cocktails - the band play in the attic overlooking the bar and they even let you join in and jam with them!
