Great location but small rooms
Beautiful gardens and pool area, beautiful dining room and friendly staff
7.7
We enjoyed our stay of 10 nights at Sawasdee Village we had 2 rooms next to each other as we had our adult daughter traveling with us. The only problem was that for 10 nights the rooms are a little small they have large beds and not much room to move around. The dining room is beautiful and provides good Thai food and the village is close to the beach only a few minutes walk or use their free shuttle, they will assist with taxi hire out the front and the tour company across the road is also good to book tours, the bus is available at the top of the street.
The gardens and pool area are as beautiful as their website and the staff are very friendly. We would definitely stay there again but probably not for such a long period.

Great Location, small rooms, small pool
Location was great, staff attentive
6.7
While the location and overall ambiance of the resort was good, it was actually very small, rooms very small and hot water in short supply.
The pool was not very clean and not well chlorinated resulting in severe gastro for the whole family.
Breakfast was excellent but dinner in restaurant worst food I've had in Thailand

Stunning village away from buzy streets gives a great place for relaxation. It is about 15 min walk to the beach and the best restuarant around is Eightfold down the road. The staff is generally lovely. The rooms are beautifully decorated but small. The pool is lovely and great to relax at instead of the beach.

I was very perturbed by my stay at Sawasdee. For one, the pictures make the grounds look much bigger than they actually are. The hotel was on a small piece of property and it was jammed pack with buidling such that there was barely any space to even walk around. The location is mediocre at best... 10 mins from the beach, and in Kata which in my opinion is one of the worst beaches in Phuket. The pool seemed dirty, rooms seemed old, staff was extremely unhelpful and having come from Cambodia right before this, we found them downright rude. Definitely would stay somewhere else (and at a different beach) next time

Wonderful Hotel, great location, friendly staff
Pool and swim up bar, tropical feel of the resort
8.7
Wonderfull stay was had by all. Rooms are a little tight but the beds are huge and comfortable, with the bathrooms adequete. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Nothing to fault the hotel with really.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
james Bond and Phi Phi islands are fantastic. Sipping drinks at a beachside restaurant at night with a gentle breeze, what could be better.

Hidden jewel
Small, luxurious, single-story boutique hotel, beatiful and peaceful
10
small boutique hotel with single-story bungalows surrounding a jungle-like garden that is a landscape architecture masterpiece. peaceful little meditation spots, fountains, teak swings, foot bridges, etc. are located throughout the garden. lends a sense of privacy. breakfast is excellent. beds are huge and comfortable, but barely fit in the smaller rooms. the bathroom is stylish and very nice, lighting is a little dim. staff are fabulous and bent over backward for us. there is a frequent free shuttle to kata beach that we never used because it only takes 15 minutes to walk down there. great place for a family, quiet and peaceful, not crazy and rocking like other parts of phuket. plenty of services (tours, restaurants, massage, laundry) right outside the entrance for less than the hotel charges.

Most luxury I've had
Setting and how pretty it looked at night all lit up. The staff were wonderful and always helpful
9.3
We stayed as a family for 10 days in the Baray Villa Suite and loved, loved it.The master suite was magnificent with the biggest bed I have ever seen. The last night it was just my husband and I and we moved over to a single room which was very small but adequate for our needs.Staff were still awesome.
