Fabulous pools and spas
Best feature was lots of pools so they were never crowded.

The whole family loved everything about sea pearl resort. The food was yummy, the service was efficient and friendly. We loved having the pool near our room to ourselves most of the time. The cooking classes and napkin folding were fun and the staff really looked after us.

Amazing rooms, Friendly staff, Very helpful 10/10
The whole experience. 8 of us stayed and ALL loved it
9.7
We found this hotel outstanding! The staff couldn't do enough to help. It was my 30th birthday out here and the hotel brought a cake to the room free of charge. They recommended some outstanding restaurants and provided transport. The hotel has a few different pools, the breakfast is well above average and the in room dining is exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend staying in this hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
If coming to relax and enjoy yourself this is for you. If your coming to party and want nightlife then maybe staying a little closer to bangla road as they charge 300baht in a cab (still only 5-10 minutes away). We didn't mind paying this as we where out the way and could relax when we didn't want that sort of night!

Good location but this hotel has had a hard life
Great pools and shuttle service into Patong
6.3
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Sea Pearl Villas - the pools are fantastic, the rooms are huge, the room service food is delicious and the staff are lovely.
However:
- the hotel, while apparently only relatively new, has clearly had a hard life - in our room, the fan, the bath plug and the rain shower were broken. The hot water wasn't working (but they fixed this after a night). There were marks all over the walls, holes in the bed head and the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. The limited stations available on the tv were terrible. The wifi was slow and cumbersome to use, requiring a complicated username and password system every time you wanted to log on.
- when we ordered room service, the plates remained uncleared outside our room for 2 days - I saw this repeated all over the hotel. Beside our nearest communal pool, half empty cocktail glasses remained uncleared for 4 days, and numerous staff were floating around the area. Seriously.
- aside from the egg station, which does a mean omelette, the buffet breakfast was dreadful. All of the pastries were practically raw and had to be put through the toaster to be made edible. The 'orange juice' was Tang.
I guess our main problem was that this hotel, which we booked at a last-minute, discount rate, cost substantially more per night than the two stunning hotels were stayed in in Bangkok, which were impeccable. It was a real thud back to earth.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The satay sticks and green chicken curry from room service are delicious.

Reasonable
One bedroom suite was lovely and big. Plenty of room for family of four. Loved the bed. Location was close enough to the main action and the free shuttle bus was great.

Front desk Service was good not great. The guys at the poolside bar were wonderful. Food was ok, reasonable but not cheap. The balcony jacuzi looked over the road and did not offer any privacy and there was a terrible smell coming from the front foyer fish ponds. My daughter loved nanny at the kids club. The pools are beautiful. The free shuttle bus was great. However the rooms while beautiful were very expensive and there was nothing extra to give a feeling of great value for money.

Awesome suite with efficient room service
Spacious suite and beautiful design
7
The suite we got was beautiful and spacious. It almost made us refuse to get out of the room in the morning sometimes. Room service was fast and always with smiles. Point to note was that hotel should put in more effort to ensure facilities were well maintained. Fan and balcony light was faulty and had to request repair to get it to work. However, overall it was a great experience.
Travel tip:
Consider renting a scooter as it will be more of a bargain to rent one than to commute back and forth between the villa and the beaches.

The room you get may not be the one pictured
4.7
When we arrived, room wasn't available. Waited 30 minutes past "guaranteed" time. Got to the room - what a disappointment! NOT what was pictured or promised in numerous solicitations. They clearly have renovated only some of the rooms - the rooms closest to the guest entrance and main clubhouse. The building we were put into had rubbish strewn about on the hallways that dogs had gotten into and sat for over 24 hours with no one picking it up - which was odd because so many workmen were coming to and fro and camping around the exterior of the building. Horrible. We looked around the resort and noticed that there were some different rooms - so when we complained the next day, we did get moved to the room type that was shown in the solicitations and was pictured on everyone's websites. They called it a "free upgrade," but we all know what it was. Service is mediocre, and is completely dependent on the individual involved- and there is a wide gap of inconsistency. THis place does NOT have a service culture whatsoever with the staff. Lots of the morning breakfast appeared to be items from the dinner menu, ostensibly made too much the night before and re-served it. The ownership of this place is cheap, more interested in nickel and diming the details and bait-and-switch on the rooms. Deplorable. Would never stay at this place again as a matter of principal and because for the price, alot more is available in better locations. The property is inconveniently located, and their hourly shuttle bus always seems to get behind on the schedule as the day goes by.
