lovely hotel but far location
nice room, sea-view, nice welcome for our honey moon

location is a little far than what we expected. every day we need to walk 30min to the shopping mall and bars. We appreciate their kind welcome decoration in our room for our honeymoon. Swimming pool and bars are closed 7pm every day, which is too early. We don;t have enough time to enjoy the cocktail by the pool.

New hotel on a hill with lots of walking

nice hotel for people who love to change 3 elevators and walk atleast 200 m to reach their room vice versa + 400 m and beach is nowhere to be seen.that is why these guys dont have a health club.fitness is already included when you book a room in sea sun and sand.i guess the walls are made of cardbord so you can even hear footsteps of the adjacent room....expect more than that in the night...ooops!

not good for people who are expecting a beach nearby or who dont wish to walk or change elevators.poor breakfast

Pretty good hotel for relaxation.

We enjoyed our stay very much due to the fact that the hotel was very well furnished with all aminities available. The rooms were very spacious with balconies facing the sea and giving a very good relaxed atmosphere. We found being such a big hotel the transport arrangements were poor(for airport tranfers and local timing to the main Patong areas. Also noted that the rooms partitions were quite poor(not sound proof) as guest parting in the next rooms could be heard disrupting the relaxed atmosphere.We would overall rate the hotel at 8 out of the 10 points.

yes the comments about the paper thin walls are so true, i can hear the people
next door talking every morning. i think it has something to do with the materials used in building the hotel, which really looks quite cheap. in that sense, the hotel is overpriced for it's location away from patong main area and the lack of good food and facilities at it's premises. there should be a sauna or tennis court at the hotel. the buffet breakfast is passable. service level is so so.

The staff of Sea, Sun, Sand were very attentive and took note of my hubby's birthday during check-in. When we were back from our shopping, we were surprised to see a birthday cake for my hubby in the fridge! This wonderful effort has exceeded our expectations (esp when the hotel room rates were so reasonable!), and really made our stay at Sea, Sun, Sand a memorable one! Keep up the good work!

we stayed four nights,great room the design was nice. the pool was great,big and lovely .but it was a long distance to the room.we needed to take two elevators to get to the room.the hotel is 5 minuets from the beach. there are nice restaurants in the area and you can take the hotel taxi to the mole, but only one way.

we stayed here for 3 nights on c building which was really amazing. the rooms were right in front of the pool and the way to the room is full of greenery. lovely place to stay.
staff may not be all that great and hospitable but not too bad either. other than that, it is a perfect place to stay.
if i come back to phuket, this will be the place to stay again and again!

the deluxe jacuzzi room located at the 5th floor is awesome with extremely nice view of the whole patong beach. the private jacuzzi at the balcony is clean and the balcony is very spacious. a great spot to sun tan as well if you wish to avoid the crowd at the beach. it's a very thoughtful resort, fruits are being served after checking in.
customer service is good, the staffs are very helpful and always greet us with a smile be it at the lobby of anywhere of the resort.
location is very good, 5 mins walk to patong beach and it's very accessible.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try to avoid going during monsoon season which is after September. Heavy rains here and there and it's very hard to plan your activities.

Nice hotel in a not so nice city

The hotel is very big and you can get a room that it's going to take you 5-10 minutes to get there (with maybe 3 or 4 elevators).
But the way to the room is pretty with many flowers and swimming pools.
The room itself is very nice, the bed is OK but not great, and there is a nice porch/balcony.
There is a transparent glass separating the bedroom and the shower (not that convenient if you go to the toilet).
Overall, this is a good choice.
