You Get What You Pay For
Design of the room, pool access concept
We got a pool access room which we enjoyed. The bathroom was designed well and didn't smell despite the lack of ventilation. The bed was so so. The not so good: Hotel entrance is unimpressive/ depressing so much so that we almost changed hotels upon check-in. The room smelled of smoke when we checked-in initially. Walls are very thin. We could hear all our neighbors' activities. Bathroom fixtures were old and rusty but the floor was clean. Breakfast sucked- little variety plus poorly cooked bacon. Don't expect anything fancy here. Hotel is functional at best.

Three days of tranquility, luxury and comfort
Peaceful environment, modern-designed, neat rooms and clean rooms
We enjoyed the comfort and luxury of the rooms, the view was brilliant, and facilities were well equipped. The rooms were cool even without air conditioning in the afternoon which was fabulous. The only drawback was that the rooms were not soundproofed well. Examples include: we could hear noises from the corridor. Overall, an enjoyable stay well worth staying in again.

Wonderful and relaxing stay
Friendly staff, comfortable and nice enviroment
Sea Sun Sand resort was quite a new hotel which just begin operation one and a half year ago. The hotel is clean and facility is quite well maintain. We booked a pool access room and it was really nice and relax except we find the water is too cold for us. The depth of the pool is just right but the length is too short. The distance between the room and the hotel lobby is quite a distance, you have to take the lift from lobby to 4th floor then walk like 100 m to the next lift and take to 2nd floor to reach our room but that's Ok for us. The property is quite big. Room is well decorated and comfortable with all basic amenities. Location wise the hotel is a bit far from the Patong central where all the shopping, restaurant and the nightlife is situated. It's 200 baht for a one way taxi trip but the hotel provide 1 way free transfer to the main shopping mall at 3 scheduled timing. It good if you need a stroll back to the hotel after heavy dinner with all the seafood but not after you get drank or traveling with senior or young kids. Overall, we like SSS and will come back again during our next trip to Phuket.

Relaxing 4d3n stay
relaxing ambience of resort, friendly staff and great location
the breakfast was rather disappointing as variety were little. shower head strength was weak (it is stronger on lower floors). the location is about 15 mins walk away from the main shopping/nightlife area in Patong. they are pretty strict on late check-out but fret not as they have a nice resting place for you to wash up after you check-out of your room. you could store your luggage with them too and head out. overall friendly staff who could understand/speak English.

Disappointing experience
A quiet location away from the busy end of Patong on high elevation from sea level so the view of the entire beach from the swimming pool was quite breathtaking
Very disappointing. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and the room floor was not cleaned well and fresh sheets had stains still on them. Was especially surprised to have noticed unhappy reluctance and agitation on the faces of some of the staff for very simple requests. The walls of the rooms were too thin,so it was impossible to get a good night's sleep when occupants from either side of the room (or both) make any kind of noise. My children had to put with listening, very clearly, to the occupants on one side of the room making out. It was very upsetting. Buffet breakfast was basic and hot mains were tasteless and overcooked; pancakes were very dry.

Overall, satisfying.
The room, the location, the hygene
We tried the buffet dinner once and it was awful. The choice is limited, the soup was really fishy. We could only eat one kind of dish while was there. The price was rather cheap since they have a promo that night, but you have to pay extra for drinks. The room was great, but on the last night there was these group of people that were really noisy at night, shouting and walking around on the hallway. Since the location of the room we were staying were far from the lobby, there wasn't any hotel staff to calm them down. We have to get through 3 elevators to get to our room, and if it was raining you could get soaked walking from the room to the main lobby. The hotel location was really close to patong beach and not far from bangla road.

Lovely Pool area
Location, Pool, Brakfast
We had a lovely stay at the resort, Brakfast was good and room very comfortable and clean. Close to Patong nightlife but slightly removed from the noise and bussle. Was not the best value for money on our trip but a very pleasant stay.

Ok but not our thing
Big room, nice property
Patong is overpriced & over rated. "Agoda" rooms at this hotel have view of mountainside that is less than manicured. Kind of felt "herded" through the whole experience. More of a "holiday package" kind of thing. Felt out of place being an independent traveler.

Patong is kinda sleazy
Big room, recent remodel
Hotel is very nice, however, property goes on and on. Quite a hike to get to our room. Not impressed with Patong Beach. Got tired of solicitations for massage, tailor, and Tuk-Tuk pretty quickly. Stay in Phuket town for half the price, hire a scooter, & explore some of the more remote beaches. Leave Patong for the frat boys.
