I was shopping around for a good price hotel on line...and there i got it. Everything is decent, except for the poor location, which is quite far from the beach. You definitely got to rent a bike or take taxis frequently, just to get to where the actions are.
Due to the current expansion, the hotel is almost covered with debris, esp on the front, and it ha very narrow parking space for motor bikes. The constructions make it quite unsightly, when u approach the hotel.
On the inside, the staff are generally helpful & speaks english pretty well. Since it was the low seasons, i got very decent price for staying there 3 nights.
Personally recommend to budget travelers as its value for money, but strongly suggest u rent a bike or car.

A really nice hotel to stay very clean and well run the staff were helpful as i left my ipod and i went back the next day to pick it up after a quick phone call. I would stay their again!!

Not to mention that if you like being able to sleep in or maybe even enjoy sitting out on the balcony looking over the pool to get covered in dust and have your ears ringing for the duration of your holiday.
Then this is the hotel for you.
Travel tip:
Loads better places to stay, where you would be able to enjoy your holiday, cause we didn't

Welcoming and friendly staff. Was a bit hard finding it at first because not all taxi drivers know the hotel. About 15-20min. walking distance from Bangla Road. Room size was great. Everything in it clean and in working order. Air con was a bit old and loud however, and the room smelled a bit stuffy. I would come back, but first check to see if the construction outside is still ongoing. It's loud...

We were allocated a room in the side wing, anyway, the room is very clean and tidy. The balcony is facing a wall which is useless in a way. The hotel is being extended and construction work is being done in front of the hotel. There is no space to park my little hired car and it has to be moved when garbish collection truck cannot pass through. The breakfast is not the usual buffet type but either traditional Thai or toast and egg type, however, the quality is not bad. When compared to other similar hotels around the area, there are better choices.

Overall, it was good. The hotel Ideal cheap accomodation to use purely as somewhere to sleep ,but not recommended if you like to spend /relax in the hotel . Bonus Free WiFi . The staff immediately attended to our needs. Reception staff were friendly and competent.

The hotel was very comfortable and the pool was clean and inviting. Although the hotel is back from the beach you can walk there but we hired scooters and were there in a few minutes. The streets around the hotel revealed many bars and places to eat.Renovations were in progress while we were there so the new additional rooms should be even better but the price may increase.
