I came here to relax and do some holiday planning in a nice room. This turned out to be a waste of time. I did get a cheap price, but I also received one of the worst rooms with the window facing a concrete wall and my reason for coming was to use wifi, which was unavailable in the room. It was even poor when outside. I ended up going to the 7 eleven to purchase 3g internet on my phone after wasting a lot of time struggling with it.
The sink and shower drain both did not drain properly and needed plunging and there was some hair left in the shower.
The room was a big size. The beds are quite firm.
It's a very short walk up a minor hill from the centre, so quiet but close.
Staff was a mix, some very friendly, others not so much.
It didn't bother me, but for those who don't like stairs, there are a number of steps to negotiate before reaching the lift.

I don't normally do reviews but after reading the good reviews about this hotel I felt as if I should share my experience.
The hotel itself is in a nice location for the beach - about a 5 min walk but that is only positive comment I have about the hotel.
Looking at the pictures there must be better rooms than mine. However, my room was dark and smelt especially the bathroom. When I first checked in to the room it had no towels when I asked for some as I wanted to shower my trip I was told to wait until 5pm!(6 hour wait). When they arrived they were a very dirty white. When using the shower the drain did not work and their fix was to remove the plug completely so when I wanted to take a bath afterwards I had to use paper to block the hole.
There are two swimming pools but the hygiene is questionable in both!
The hotel is on the same level as a poor motel at best!

This is a fairly good hotel with a moor than adequate breakfast,good size pools(2),and a short walk to the beach and restaurants,however after booking a superior room I was put into the lowest room in the hotel with no view no light and down a long flight of steps,if I were staying more than my three nights I would have complained,but I arrived late at night and just didn't feel up to trying to change rooms (my fault)other than that a pleasant stay,and I would stay again if I were in Phuket but in a different room

don't have wifi conection in the rooms, only in the social area, it was a very nice stay, beautiful place, nice room.
its less than 5 min. to Kata Beach, what in my opinion is the best one in Phuket, beenn to patong,,karon rawai and nai harn beaches. And also near to many nice restaurants,Orchid restauarant had exselent food, Italian coffee shop is 2 min away and lots of small shops.

Not Serene

This hotel could be fantastic but the little things that are important are overlooked. The corridors are noisy and doors slam shut because they have no closers fitted. Internet facilities are really poor and do not work in the room. No soundproofing between interconnecting doors meant you can hear the people in the next room talk, see the light on and off under the door and hear their television programme. Paid for a sea view room months in advance yet nothing available on arrival so looked onto a wall from next building for the week.
Having said that the rooms are really spacious and the bathrooms fantastic. The two pools are great and breakfast is plentiful and good variety.

Got this place cheap on agoda bargain for the location and resort itself, right next to the shops and Kata beach and has a lovely pool and pool bar. Rooms are nice too, nice buffet breakfast. Would highly recommend. You do however have to put up with a very persistant taxi salesman very time you enter or leave the resort.
