Excellent family resort
Great location, right on the beach, but there are also 4 different pools.

we had an lovely stay. at the beginning of the week the weather was a little rainy, but the rest of the week was good. the resort has all the services you need: spacious rooms with large balcony, beach, pools, mini market, free wi-fi at the lobby, gym, kids club, all kinds of activities for kids and adults etc. our daughter (age 11) loved the place.
only disapointment was the christmas bufee, which was not really worth the price. especially when the river lobster that was advertised at the pre-menu was lacking and replaced by just grilled prawns!
Restaurant Tip:
Hotel restaurant is good, especially thai food, but there are also a number of small restaurants by the beach, where you can walk by the sea. We used them especially for lunch.

Location is OK, room size perfect

Overall the Hotel is Rooms and amenity is ok. The beach is very near. Waiting time for us get to our room took about an hour after check - in don't feel welcome at all at the reception. Schedule bus to Patong was too expensive @ 200bhat/pax for a family like you rather took the taxi that cost 600bhat/trip.
Travel tip:
The only good about this hotel child below 12 get to eat for free with paying adult.Breadfast spread was exceptable.

Disappointing
Beach location, kids club

We are a party of 2 adults and 2 children and staid at the Sunwing for 3 nights, but won't be returning for the following reasons
1) very poor breakfast : no fresh rolls, no cheese, no capuccino, no herbal teas, no smoked salmon.... Just all the average stuff one gets at boarding school. However, the breakfast location was great overlooking Bang Tao beach
2) great beach front but very badly maintained. The loungers looked scruffy and uninviting. A lot of the adjacent beach shacks looked damaged and deserted
3) Service : very average for a country which prides itself on its smiles
4) taxi service : very expensive and no alternative available apart from renting a car which we did and which turned out to be a great decision. Driving in Phuket is easy.
Positives
1) great beach front location. Bang tao
beach is a great beach when the tide is out and is very swimmable. It is a far quieter part of the island than Patong, so if you are looking for action, don't stay in Bang Tao
2) pools : good number of pools for the kids
3) rooms of decent size : great for families with 2 kids. Rooms have double bed and 2 single beds which double up as a sofa
This is definitely a family resort for the budget traveller. I had the impression that many people were travelling on cheap package holidays. This hotel shows little refinement. If you are looking to be pampered, please give this hotel a skip.

rather than use the taxi drivers who are hanging around outside, rent a car

lovely hotel with very good staffs

we stay for 4 nights. the rooms are big, got all what we need for eating in the room. the matress enough for 4 persons.
and also when i forgot to bring my things in the safety deposit, but the staffs did not take. and i can have again

in the hotel, the thai food for breakfast and dinner are very nice. fresh food they give us.
also the restaurant infront of the hotel also very nice. the price the same with in the hotel

the hotel are great,the room are big and the bathroom,the towel are very clean especially the white towel are always very white and clean... some staff are very good,some no smile.the beach are awesome,but the chair is not free,you must pay when you sit. even you are the hotel guest,the food is good.the price also...the only thing is no good in this hotel is the shuttle.they dont have shuttle and the taxi is very expensive,when you go shopping.the shopping center is very far cost you thai bath to go and come back in the taxi.which is we find very expensive.
Shopping Tip:
Shopping Center is very Far.when you go in low season.costly to go shopping in the low season,and if you buy in the beach is triple over price in the actual price.

we could not have asked for more. our room was lovely and very clean. the location is beautiful and the resort offered so much more than "room and board". the staff was very friendly and professional. they provided great services and seemed personally interested in our stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
It is the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday to Phuket. The very talented performers provided great entertainment and there was just something for all ages. We used the onsight store for snacks and supplies. The pool was wonderful for an alternative to the beach.

Resort muy bien pensado para familias con niños
El hotel ofrece todo para disfrutar el resort y la playa, ya que tiene salida directa.buena comida yatenciln general del personal, en especial christine de recepcion.

Este hotel esta en la zona de bang tao, un poco alejado del centro, lo que es bueno para estar tranquilo, pero para ir al centro de patong debe tomarse un taxi que tarda media hora. El hotel sirve esta pensado sobre todo para familias con niños pequeños. El acceso a la playa es muy positivo. Ofrecen masasjes en el mismo hotel y en la playa que quien los disfruta, esta en el paraiso.
Travel tip:
Hay otro hotel de la misma cadena pero en la playa de kamala, que esta un poco mejor ubicado, y segun comentarios, la playa es mejor. A reservar tomar la prevision que el taxi al hotel no esta incluido y seria mejor tenerlo reservado si va una familia, aunque en el aeropuerto hay muchos taxis, que acosan al turista para llevarlos al hotel.

chambre spacieuse, piscine immense et magnifique, accès direct à la plage

journée et nuit très reposantes après 14 heures d'avion.
l'hotel est proche de l'aeroport et constitue un bon point de chute avnt de repartir visiter. les chambres, l'hygiène, la piscine sont sans surprise, très agréables. le restaurant donne sur la plage et propose une cuisine thai et internationale.il y a un club enfants dont les nombreuses activites ont émerveillé les miens, ainsi que des spectacles pour enfants en soirée. l'accès direct à la plage est très appréciable et permet de visiter sans reprendre la voiture.
Travel tip:
Séjour en famille ou 1ere nuit à proximité de l'aéroport

小さなお子様連れ家族にはリーズナブルで設備も充実しており長期滞在に良いのではないでしょうか。
中国人、韓国人などアジア人の宿泊が極めて少なく、欧米人の家族でしめられていたので、落ち着けた。

設備は清潔に保たれていたが、水道水、温水全てが黄色く濁っていた。何かトラブっていたようですが断水時も連絡なかった。
