very simple and basic
clean area, near beach and eateries

The hotel was very well located to beach and restaurant. We enjoyed walking around the area. This is a simple hotel with very basic things. Breakfast is simple. Too bad they dont provide any spa.

i stayed at surintra with my cousin for 3 nights. we were both a bit wary of it at first because the we had a bad impression upon arrival. the driveway to the hotel is not very nice. we arrived early in the morning and checked in. the receptionist was not particularly friendly, but it was okay. he told us we'd have to wait until 1:00 for our room to be ready. we stayed in the lobby to try to plan our day, and after 15 minutes, he told us they did have a room ready for us. it was a hike up 4 stories, but we are young and able so we managed it fine. the room was a pleasant surprise. it was very large and clean. it was a bit empty, but we weren't expecting much for the price we paid. it had a terrace, but the view was not very nice. we used the pool, where i could swim laps and relax to plan our days. there is not really a restaurant. breakfast was on a deck and they served minimal food. you could order eggs anyway you like and bacon. wifi was free. we decided to stay at this hotel because the price was right and we wanted to save out money to spend on sightseeing. the location was close enough to the beach. we were pleasantly surprised.

Superb new rooms
Brand new rooms & a second swimming pool

Have stayed at Surintra on many occasions, keep coming back as it is located close to Surin beach, the rooms are lovely, reasonably priced and the staff attentive. Ts stay was different, the hotel has expanded & I must say the new rooms are gorgeous... A little more light in the bathroom, a long mirror & softer pillows would have made them perfect...another great stay at Surintra!

Large room, lovely pool
Big room, loads of space, gorgeous pool
8.3
The room was excellent, clean and the hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the beach.
The pool is gorgeous and relaxing. A nice way to start the morning.
The breakfast was average - eggs, toast and bananas.
The staff was often hard to find or were not overly knowledgeable at times.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a great little Thai restaurant at the end of the road where youturnto go to the hotel. Nice staff and good food.

Funky beachside resort
Pool, balconies, quietness

We have stayed here several times, each room is done out differently with terrific decoration. The upstairs rooms have large balconies and the downstairs rooms have a balcony with a swinging chair. They both have outdoor kitchens. They are very spacious. When we went this time they were expanding the hotel which is a shame as the last time we went it only had 10 rooms. While we were there this time there were builders everywhere and it was very noisy so not as relaxing as the time before. I did think this should have been on the website so we knew what we were in for, the owner did offer us a discount.
