Pool area much too small for all the guests.
Good service with great restaraunt at the Green Corner.
Restaurant Tip:
The Green Corner has great food cheap prices and good service.
You must try the cashew with fresh shrimp.

quiet beach near patong, homely feel

not exactly on kamaka beach, but a short walk thru an underpass under the main road will take you there.
exactly what you would expect of a marriott courtyard property.
we rented a car so getting to the hotel wasn't as easy as checking google maps. looking out for the red marriott and green courtyard sign helped.
Restaurant Tip:
must visit Baan Mai restaurant outside the entrance of the hotel. awesome european and thai dishes. feels like food cooked with love. fresh ingredients and quick service every time.

I can go on and on about the wonderful service rendered by the hotel staff. That was a truly pleasant experience for us. However, I am not particularly impresses with the hotel room and location in general.
Location - ideal for travellers with a rented car or who wouldn't mind travelling to areas with more shops and restaurants.
Room: Found the 1 toilet for a 2 BR suite a little inconvenient because between 3 adults and 1 child, we took a while when we need to shower/use the toilets everyday.
Also, unfortunately, there was a stench that comes out of the pipes within a aircon. Think we were told that it's due to some blockage. Staff was nice to provide us with an aromatherapy burner to cover the smell.
The hotel has 4 storeys but no lifts. So if you're pregnant (like I was) or are travelling with older people, might not want to ask for a high floor!

we are big family with grandparents and two daughters. 7yrs and 2yrs.
1. i really appreciated they made an extra bed for my little girl.
2. they welcomed us with free drink and lovely smile.
3. we are very satisfied with their buffet dinner. cheap and good. two great singers keep on entertain us during our dinner.
4. it is so close to the fantasea.
5. only short-coming is there is only one bath room in this two rooms suite.

we just back from Phuket and live the above hotel b4 we booked 2 bedrooms suite x 3, but when arrive they said no rooms, then offer us 3 bedrooms suites x 3, then after we saw the room we accept and also give us free of breakfast for all people, the room is on first floor and very closed with swimming pool, people are nice. and the room is big.
we will considerating to live there again if we go Phuket next time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
for convenience, best to rent a car to drive as they are on the hill road /

Need to cross the tunnel to reach the beach. Long walk not safe during evening.
Far from everything except Phuket fantasy

Excellent service from start to finish. Very warm welcome at reception. Nice sized apartments with tv in each room. There are no lifts so if this is an issue for you, request a ground floor room. Great selection of food for children. Excellent buffet breakfast. 5 minute walk to the beach. Would certainly return.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a good French/Thai restaurant a short walk from the hotel. It has a small swimming pool. Food is good but take cash. They don't accept credit cards.
