Excellent resort with brilliant stafff

If you looking for a resort where you want to relax and you have a high budget, I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are extremely well-appointed and modern and the staff and room service are very helpful and friendly. Whilst it is not directly on the beach, it is a short walk and this slight inconvenience is more than made up for by the rest of the features.

I stayed in that hotel for 4 nights in order to avoid busy Patong and to relax. The location of this hotel is suitable for that purpose, however renting a scooter is required in my opinion, as the beach in front of the hotel is not the nicest one and the next convenience stores are roughly 1km away.

I stay Swissotel 4 days during Nov 12, the hotel is located 5-10 mins walk from Kamala Beach, all staffs are nice and helpful.

Small but well kept hotel, bad food

Hotel was a little far away from everything. Rooms were nice and clean but lacking in restaurants and food in coffee house left alot to be admired. Spa was great and had good discounts while I was there. No draft beer which was a let down. Otherwise, well designed swimming pool and friendly staff.

Stayed for 3 days. Sept 27-30 2009. It was a nice, clean hotel. Nice pool area, but after one day your looking for something to do. Kamala Beach is a 10 min walk, but the beach is nothing special. A few shops, but you better off staying in Patong.
Restaurant Tip:
A few eating places on the beach. Beware I had fried rice and got really sick. I think it's the oil that was used.

Ich hatte eine erholsame Zeit geniessen können. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Essen war erste Sahne. Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Pool war gross und bot genug Platz für alle Hotelgäste. Schwachpunkt: Internet-Access kostete über 200 Bath für eine Stunde. Man zahlt einen stolzen Preis, da sollte Internet-Access gratis sein!
