Wonderful in every way!
Just enough off the main road to be quiet but just a couple minute walk to the beach, etc.

The hotel is average,must be up grade will be better. the location is good ,only 5 minute walk to the beach. the breakfast every day is same type no so many choice.
Travel tip:
you can rent the motor to walk around.

The pool is closed too early. The rooms although booked very much earlier than my visit and specifically requested for rooms to be nearby were on 3 different floors.
Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Its near the beach and very accessible to food nearby.

really enjoyed stay in this hotel because of the great location and good service from the staff. i stay in standard room which has spacious room,clean and complete amenities. however, in my next visit i would like to stay in deluxe room which has new renovated and modern interior.
Shopping Tip:
you should take tuktuk to the nearest shopping center such as jungceylon or bangla road. if you prefer walk in would takes around 10-15 minutes.

The room we had was nice and clean and quite large with a non cooking kitchen. It was close to the beach and not too far to walk to shopping areas. The garden and pool area were very attractive. Breakfast was good and the happy hour cocktails were fabulous. We would definitely return this this hotel.

We were installed in a room that seemed to come right out of an 80's movie. We got to see our friends rooms afterwards and we realized it was a totally different experience. The staff was kind enough to help us relocate but we had to pay an upgrade. Staff is mostly extremely kind and helpful, one unfortunate exception was one grumpy young lady.

Thamthip Villa Hotel
Friendly Staff, Clean and spacious room

Had a 3 nights stay at Thamthip Villa. Its only 3 minutes walk to the beach area. During checked-in the front office has upgraded us to the deluxe room, although we booked for standard room. I would suggest it will be good for travellers who prefer peace and quiet in the night, as compared to hotels in Bangla Road. Good service staff, thumbs up!!
