Location, breakfast, pools, services and room facilities Access to the room from the lobby, no free access to the internet like other hotel Hotel Feature Tip : Our room was on 2nd floor and it has no balcony but a glass wall facing to the pool because it has a huge tree in front of it. If someone prefers balcony, ask for rooms that are not blocked by this tree.

Pool is great. Centrally located to shopping streets and also shopping centre Staff could do with more training in understanding English Hotel was just what I expected. Breakfast is fab. The remainder of the menu could do with an update.
Staff are friendly, even if english is not very good.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Dinner menu is same each night, so if staying for a reasonable period you need to go out and try other restaurants.
Would definately stay again.
Beds are a bit hard

Staff at Dolphin Pool Bar, Wonderful swimming pools for adults and children, and The best location in Patong Beach for restaurants, shopping, beach access, and night life. Some rooms need upgrading, but ask for an upgrade when you arrive, and you will most likely get it. Great 4 star hotel, great location, guests from all over the world, very close to the beach, shopping, great restaurants, and night clubs of every persuasion. Excellent for both families, and couples.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Reliable travel agent in hotel lobby. Remember to negotiate!

Great Location, helpful staff, clean stylish rooms This was a great place. The location was fantastic and within walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly and the rooms were stylish and classy. They have many pools for adults and children. They also have a very nice restaurant. Out of all the resorts I passed by when I was there, I thought this had the best location and was the best value for the money.

The rooms were clean.Staff were friendly and helpful. Great food at the restaurants.A great resort for families, young people and older couples.The pools were fantastic. Our first time in Thailand and what a great choice. You are close to everything, the nightlife at Bangla road, The otop Markets, Patong beach across the road and when you walk back in the resort you leave the hustle and bustle behind.I would recommend this resort for anyone,families, young people and older couples like myself.

expensive internet, and hard beds. the hotel provided friendly and efficient service. the staff kindly upgraded our rooms, however these rooms were strangely not as great as the rooms we initially booked and this was quickly amended by the staff. Also, if your not used to the humid weather, an air conditioned room is a must as it can become unbearable at times, the hotels air conditioning was excellent. the buffet breakfast was the meal of the day, a must not miss. Hotel's location was great, about 5mins walk from the beach and 10mins from bangla rd (not too close that its too noisy to relax). Very good value for money. Will return in the future

Really quiet inside the hotel!
Breakfast is good, with a nice variety of food!
Swimming pool is beautiful!
Wonderful seafood restaurant! No answer of the room service phone late night! Thara Patong is a pearl in the middle of Patong Beach!
Besides the noisy night life in Patong, the hotel is really quiet inside! You can't listen to the loud music outside or even the noise of the cars!
It is located in the middle of the beach, so it's half way for everywhere! The beach is located less than five minutes, just cross the street and you will find it!
Close to the hotel you can find everything! Supermarket like 7/11, drugstores, Subway and many other shops with local handicraft!
Shopping Tip : The Agsana Spa is the best massage in town! It's on the main beach road, close to the hotel!

Situation très centrale, très grande chambre (upgradé en Premier sans supplément), jardins agréables. La salle du petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur de l'hôtel Après plusieurs séjours à Patong, je conseille vivement cet hôtel qui bénéficie d'une excellente situation au coeur de l'animation. Les chambres sont toutes tournées vers l'intérieur, il n'y a aucun problème de bruit.
Les piscines sont très agréables notamment celle pour les enfants.
La chambre est très confortable (Premier) avec une jolie vue sur la piscine.
Le petit déjeuner est correct sans plus. Le personnel est très aimable.
Bref, un hôtel à recommander.

This is a nice quiet hotel / resort on Karong beach.. About 10 minute drive away from Patong Beach. Nice rooms, with good furnishings. Stayed here several nights, and was excellent. Good staff and very helpful all round. Meals within the hotel are a little expensive, and the breakfast buffet is somewhat basic, although there is defiently something there for everyone to enjoy. Shower water pressure is sometimes questionable. Stayed here at the start of feburary. Was very quiet in the resort, and had the place mostly to outself. Stayed several nights in one of the garden balcony rooms, then moved to a pool view. Enjoyed the pool room more, as was better for
"natural" lighting. Excelletn location away from the main shopping areas, although can easiely walk there in 2 minutes. Good all round resort. Would come bcack again anytime.!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you keep driving up the road the hotel is situation on, it goes to an amazing look out over Karong beach. The road is very steep and seems a little dangerouos, although well worth the walk!

they need more drawers to put your clothing We were both very happy with our accomodations at the Thara Patong Resort and Spa, where we stayed for twelve nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have two very nice pools and a workout gym we used every day.
The beach was a very short walk away, only a couple of minutes.
The hotel is very near all the action, but was also very quiet. There are many restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again.

The swimming pools, breakfast, location. This hotel had two amazing pools. Located in a great location within walking distance from Bang la road however when in the hotel could not hear the traffic on the street. Was a really great hotel. Definately coming back here. Breakfast was also good. Stay here!

3 minutes walk to beach and main street, customer services are good. Upgrade of hotel room and extension of check-out time until 2pm. Sure will stay again in future. Breakfast lack of Thai Food Initially I had booked through another hotel located in Phuket Town for the whole journey. Before my trip, I noticed that there was a promotional offer by the hotel which is within my budget. Therefore I decided to change my hotel simply because it is centrally located within tourist district. Now I have completed my journey and I think I have made the right choice.

Beautiful rooms, swimming pool is kept clean as new pin. Helpful staff. Long walk to pool from some rooms. Construction noise is pretty bad at times ( but will be finished soon hopefully!) The Thara Patong is a lovely peaceful oasis in the hustling bustling Patong beach. The staff are pleasant and helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
One comment I would like to make is that some guests are very selfish and claim the seats around the pool even when not actually using them from 6am to 7pm no less! Maybe the management could make a rule that this is not allowed?
The Thai and foot massage pavilion in the centre of the garden is excellent and professional and the staff are caring and friendly - thank you.
The included breakfast was excellent and substantial - well done with every kind of taste provided for!
I will definitely use this hotel again ( this was our third visit) and recommend it to my friends.
Restaurant Tip : There are many excellent restaurants on the beach opposite the side entrance to the hotel...great foods and good prices!

Good location, the deluxe room is very nice The first look of the hotel is a little disappointing. The lobby is very small and look alike a guest house. The rooms are quite nice. The deluxe room is spacious and the interior is good standard. I was a little worry about the noise of the night life in Patong because of the hotel’s location. All the rooms are facing inside, therefore they are very quiet in the evening.
