Great location hotel
Convinient access to either downtown or beach
8
More than happy to stay there for the family vacation. 10 minute-walk cold bring us anywhere excited. Swimming pool is also good and big enough to enjoy the daytime rahther than hopping-tour. Facilities in the room are a bit out of date but still good enough. I would recommend this hotel especially for family vacation.

Great hotel, great pools, great location
8.7
Good hotel, we got a very good deal on Agoda and booked for 4 nights for 4 families. Although we had booked Superior rooms we (all 4 families) were upgraded to Premier rooms (2 notch upgrade) on arrival since Superior rooms were all occupied. The rooms were huge (really huge) with all the facilities. Yes, if you see the Superior rooms after staying in Premier rooms then Superior ones would seem very small but to my estimation the Superior rooms were also decent (they have separate blocks across the resort). My room was having very good view of the pools and on highest floor. 3 pools in all and all good, children and families would specially enjoy this. Location was good with beach across the road from breakfast area. Missed out on tasting sea food there in evening but may be will catch up next time. They have one computer with complimentary internet access so that came in handy as well. Breakfast spread was acceptable.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Remember even premier rooms had many different features (some had bath tub, some didn't and some had kitchenette as well). But they don't allow cooking in the rooms.

nice and clean hotel with a great location.
Good location yet in a nice quiet corner of Patong Beach.
7.7
the hotel is great but certain area required to be upgraded. though the room given to me was clean and big but realized that some wall paint are peeling off.
trees and plants close to swimming pool should be well taken care of as we always found fallen leaves, branches and flowers in the pool.
we arrived early about 9.30am but was only allow to check-in after 12pm! why made us waited since you have the room at off peak season?

great location but rooms require some work
ok breakie, room ok, staff great
7.7
the hotel rooms and hotel require some maintenance. for example the room i was in cracked tiles in bathroom, outside door would not open (had to use extreme force to open), chain to operate fan was 2 inches long, paving in some areas around the pool were badly cracked and worn. i noticed workers were fixing some area. breakfast was ok, coffee was good. taxi service from hotel a rip-off (go across road)

we have stayed at thara for three nights and fully recommend the place! the bedroom was new, clean, quiet and a good room service everyday! the reception is very helpful, friendly beauty therapist staff(massage). great restaurant and bar and great breakfast too! if going back to phuket, will stay there again!
Shopping Tip:
renting a scooter outside of the hotel might be cheaper!
